Such a great day at the Armstrong Creek School Expo 💙💜🩷
We love getting out into the community, meeting students, families, teachers and other local providers, connecting with new people and sharing what Buddiup and Sisterup Geelong are all about.
Days like today are about so much more than that though.
We get the opportunity to meet young people, their parents, their teachers and start conversations about what life after school could look like. It’s such an important time in a young person’s life. The transition from school into adulthood can be exciting, but it can also be confusing and overwhelming for individuals and their families, and the importance of getting that transition right isn’t lost on us.
We feel incredibly privileged to play a small part in making that transition a little easier and helping young people build friendships, confidence, independence and connections in their community as they move into the next stage of their lives.
That’s why events like today are so valuable, and why it’s so great to see schools like Armstrong Creek creating opportunities for families to meet providers, ask questions, explore what’s out there and start building those relationships and planning early.
Hearing comments today like “we hear so much about you guys”, “we love what you’re doing” and “we love Buddiup and Sisterup” absolutely fills our hearts. 🥰
We love what we get to do and feel incredibly privileged to be able to do it. 💙💜🩷
