Stress doesn’t just affect the mind — it can show up throughout the body in ways we don’t always expect.
Muscle tension, poor sleep, digestive changes, and feeling constantly overwhelmed can all be signs your body is asking for support.
Acupuncture takes a holistic approach, supporting relaxation and helping the body find balance. 🌿
If you’ve been feeling “off,” it might be worth listening to what your body is trying to tell you.

Why sinus issues flare in Autumn 🍂
In TCM, Autumn is linked to the Lung system, which connects closely to the nose, immunity, and how we respond to environmental changes.
As the air becomes cooler and drier, it’s common to see more: • congestion
• blocked or runny nose
• hay fever & sinus flare-ups
Acupuncture aims to support the body through this seasonal shift by helping regulate the nasal passages and overall immune function.

🌿 Living with the Seasons: WINTER ❄️

In Chinese Medicine, winter is the season of Yin — a time to slow down, reflect, and nourish deeply. Here are 6 essential tips to help you stay balanced and well during the colder months:

1. Nourish the Yin and prioritise sleep 🐶
Winter is linked to the Kidney system and deep rest. Prioritising quality sleep supports your energy reserves and immunity.

2. Limit cold foods and drinks 🥶
Cold, raw foods can weaken digestion and internal warmth. Choose gentle, warming meals to support your Spleen Qi.

3. Eat warm, nourishing foods 🍲
Soups, stews, and congee warm the body and strengthen your digestive system — the foundation of energy and immunity.

4. Keep the body moving 🧘‍♀️
Gentle movement like Qigong, yoga, or walking helps circulate Qi and blood, preventing stiffness and seasonal sluggishness.

5. Drink warm water and herbal teas ☕
Warm fluids keep your digestion happy, promote circulation, and support hydration without chilling the system.

6. Keep the body warm🧣
Protect your neck, lower back, and feet from the cold to safeguard your Kidney energy — especially important in winter!

🌿 Stay warm, move gently, and rest deeply. Your body will thank you.

Curious about how acupuncture works?
Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture involves the use of ultra-fine needles placed at specific points on the body. These points are part of a system known as meridians, which are traditionally believed to help guide energy and support balance in the body.

It’s commonly used to promote a sense of wellbeing, relaxation, and inner harmony.

Each treatment is tailored to your individual needs — and many clients find the experience incredibly calming.

As the leaves fall, it’s time to slow down and support your body.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, autumn is the season of the Lungs and Large Intestine—linked to immunity, grief, and letting go.
It’s a time to nourish your lungs, boost your immune system, and release what no longer serves you as you prepare for the colder months ahead.
