The residents of The Vue Community Aged Care enjoyed a beautiful lunch outing at Thelo Gyros and Bar this week. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious food, music, laughter and plenty of catching up with fellow residents and family members.
Moments like these bring so much joy to our community — sharing stories, enjoying good company and creating memories together. We’re grateful for everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.

The wonderful Filipino singing band brought so much joy to The Vue Community Aged Care on the weekend. Residents and family members loved listening to their beautiful music and shared in a day full of smiles, rhythm and connection.

Book Lover’s Day at The Vue

The Vue Community Aged Care was full of colour, creativity and great conversation as our residents and staff celebrated Book Lover’s Day.
Everyone dressed up as their favourite book character, bringing beloved stories to life throughout our home.

We enjoyed a cosy wine and cheese tasting, shared laughs, swapped book recommendations and admired all the wonderful costumes.

It was a beautiful afternoon celebrating imagination, connection and the joy of reading together.

The Vue kitchen was buzzing today as our lovely Wellbeing coordinator Lana hosted a delightful cooking demonstration. Residents, staff and family members gathered around to watch, with a few excited to jump in and help.

The highlight of the day was definitely the warm, flaky Macedonian jam croissants (kifli) — a sweet treat everyone absolutely loved. 🥐

Another beautiful milestone at The Vue Community Aged Care. Today we celebrated our wonderful resident Dorothy as she turned 90. It was a joyful afternoon shared with her family, our staff, and fellow residents — all coming together to honour this special occasion and the incredible woman she is.

The Vue Residents’ Choir, together with our wonderful singing teacher Jill, brought pure joy to the home today. Their performance for staff, families and fellow residents was filled with warmth, smiles and beautiful harmonies. Moments like these remind us just how special our community truly is.

Our beautiful resident Joan reached an incredible milestone this week as we celebrated her 100th Birthday at The Vue Community Aged Care. Surrounded by fellow residents, staff and her loving family, the day was filled with joy, stories, music and heartfelt moments.
Reaching 100 is something truly special, and Joan’s warmth, humour and resilience continue to inspire everyone here at The Vue. It was an honour to celebrate this remarkable occasion with her and create memories she and all of us will treasure.
Happy 100th Birthday, Joan. What a wonderful life you continue to lead.
