You might be thinking “Kinunity” isn’t a word, have you just made it up? I think so! It came to me one day when I was thinking about neurokin needs… Kinunity is the coming together of KINship and CommUNITY.
Kinship is the relationship between people who share similar characteristics, and Communities are groups of people with shared socially significant interests.
At Kinunity Psychology we aim to create space for those with shared similarities and characteristics, and we celebrate differences from the “norm”.

We provide Therapy for all brain types - not just neurodivergent brains - for children, adolescents and adults, and Neurodiversity Affirming ADHD & Autism Assessments for adults.

We use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach in Therapy sessions, where you are your own expert, and your voice is centred and uplifted. We provide therapeutic support for stress, anxiety, depression, strategies to live with ADHD, Psychoeducation about ADHD & Autism, sensory and learning differences and EMDR.

Our ADHD & Autism Assessment Process is thorough to ensure we learn about your history, as well as your experiences as an Adult. Our approach is compassionate and inclusive and we recognise and celebrate the diverse ways in which individuals experience and interact with the world. You’ll be provided Questionnaires to complete online before your appointments, either in-person or online sessions, and written confirmation of findings and identification, in the form of a Letter or Report.

Our Fee Payments are staggered so you don’t have to pay your full Therapy or Assessment fees upfront.

For more information including Fees and Frequently Asked Questions, please visit www.kinunitypsychology.com.au.

Hi! I’m Krysia, Psychologist here at Kinunity Psychology and my pronouns are she/her. I’m a Registered Psychologist with a Master of Applied Psychology (Community Psychology) degree.
Working with clients, whether that be discovering their neurotype, or in a therapeutic support role, brings me such joy. I’ve been lucky to work in many industries, including EdTech (Assessments) and Academia (disability research), teaching me skills that have combined to enable me to start my own business, Kinunity. A privilege. I’m multiply neurodivergent, discovered many decades into my adult life - my lived experience provides for genuine connection and understanding with my clients. They understand me, I understand them. I lead with kindness.
My Special Interests include interior design, music, make-up, researching everything, and my two French Bulldogs - you’ll probably meet them in Telehealth appointments. I look forward to meeting you and learning about your interests!

Welcome to Kinunity Psychology! Providing a compassionate and inclusive approach to practice that recognises and celebrates the diverse ways in which individuals experience and interact with the world.
We’re a Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice, we’re trauma-informed and we practice using strength-based approaches, recognising our clients are the experts of their own lives. We look towards our client’s environment, relationships and society to explain their wellbeing, not just within the individuals themselves.
We welcome all brain types, and provide Therapy for all - children, adolescents and adults, and ADHD & Autism Assessments for adults.
Our appointments are available for anyone in Australia via Telehealth/Online, and we have face-to-face appointments in our clinic in Geelong.
