You don’t need to change your life, just what you do within it.

Busy mums don’t need more in their to do list, we need things that work inside the life we already have!

This is my “road snack” for school pick up. My school pick-up is usually a 40–45 minute round trip, so I’ve started making that time work for me.

Today’s road snack is nothing fancy, just some apple, carrot, celery and a few nuts, plus soda water with lemon and plenty of ice.

I like having something crunchy to munch on while I drive, and I also use these little snacks to fill the gaps in my day.

Haven’t had many healthy fats? → Add some nuts.🥜
Need a bit more fibre? → Grab some fruit and veggies. 🥒 🍇
Want something crunchy? → Pack something you actually enjoy eating.

This is really what it comes down to with a true real life health journey…. Making it fit in YOUR life!

The wellness industry makes health seem complicated… but it doesn’t have to be.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, start with these three habits:

🌞 Get outside for 5–10 minutes of morning sunlight.

🥚 Eat a protein-rich breakfast within an hour or two of waking.

🚶‍♀️ Move your body every day, even a 20-minute walk counts.

These aren’t trendy hacks. They’re simple habits that support your circadian rhythm, energy levels, appetite regulation, and long-term health.

You don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t need a cupboard full of supplements.
You don’t need to wait until Monday.

Small actions, repeated consistently, create lasting change.

💚 Which one are you going to focus on today?

What have you done today to improve or maintain your health? 🌿

Today was one of those days where I really filled my cup in lots of different ways.

I started the morning by getting outside as soon as the sun was up. Morning sunlight helps support your circadian rhythm, so I soaked it in while watering my veggie garden and enjoying my coffee.

I also ate within an hour of waking. Today it was just a smoothie because I had a workout planned and didn’t want to exercise on a full stomach. I made sure my post-workout meal was already prepped too, so afterwards I could simply eat and recover without having to think about it.

I then headed out for a 30-minute walk, followed by a 20-minute weights session. After that came a shower, my pre-prepared post-workout meal, an eyebrow appointment, a catch-up with a friend, and some time with my sister.

Each part of my day served a different purpose. Some supported my physical health, others my mental and emotional wellbeing, and all of them reminded me that looking after yourself isn’t just about eating well or exercising.

I was also up at 5:30 this morning, giving myself a little time before the kids woke up. Those quiet moments helped set the tone for the whole day.

Health isn’t about being perfect. It’s about the small, intentional choices we make every day that add up over time.

So tell me… what have you done today to improve or maintain your health? 💚

I’m a nutrition coach, but I’m also a busy mum. I don’t believe you have to be perfect to help someone improve their health. My goal isn’t perfection,it’s creating habits that fit real life. I’m on that journey too, and that’s exactly why I understand the women I work with.

What’s something that you wish you could fit into your daily routine?

Real life doesn’t always go to plan… and that’s okay. 🤍

Today my little boy is having dental surgery.

This morning was all about making sure he was okay, getting everyone organised, and getting to the hospital on time. Breakfast didn’t happen for me, not because I think skipping meals is healthy, but because sometimes life happens.

Now I’m sitting in the hospital with a coffee and a toasted chicken sandwich from the auxiliary café.

Would I normally have breakfast? Absolutely.

Would I normally choose something different if I had my own kitchen? Probably.

But healthy living isn’t about making the “perfect” choice every single time. It’s about making the best choice you can with what’s in front of you.

Too often we think:
❌ “I’ve missed breakfast, so today is ruined.”
❌ “Hospital food isn’t healthy, so I may as well grab chocolate too.”

Instead, I choose to nourish my body, fuel myself so I can look after my family, and move on without guilt.

That’s what realistic nutrition looks like.

Life will always throw unexpected moments at us. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s learning how to make choices that support your health, even on the messy days.

💚 Give yourself permission to be flexible. One meal doesn’t define your health.

If your health plan only works when life is quiet… it’s not a good plan.

Here’s what I believe.

I’m not here to tell busy mums to wake up at 4am, meal prep for six hours every Sunday, or spend two hours in the gym every day.

Because that’s not real life.

Real life is school drop-offs, sick kids, laundry that never ends, work, appointments, dinner, and trying to drink your coffee before it goes cold.

Your health shouldn’t have to wait until life slows down.

It should fit into the life you’re already living.

That’s what I’m passionate about.

Helping women build habits they can actually stick to.

Maybe that means a 20-minute workout instead of an hour.
Maybe it means adding protein to breakfast instead of cutting out foods you love.
Maybe it means walking while your kids ride their bikes instead of chasing 10,000 perfect steps.

Small changes.
Done consistently.
Over perfection.

Because consistency beats the “all or nothing” approach every single time.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve failed because you couldn’t stick to another unrealistic plan, you haven’t failed.

The plan failed you.

I’m here for the women building healthy, strong lives around their families—not around Instagram.

☕ My “trying to do all the mum things” protein iced coffee.

Not fancy.
Not Instagram-perfect.
But it gets the job done.

20+ grams of protein, caffeine, and something I can drink while chasing kids, answering messages, and attempting to remember what I walked into the room for.

One of the biggest myths in health is that everything needs to be complicated.

Sometimes better health looks like:
✔️ Adding protein to your morning coffee
✔️ Eating breakfast
✔️ Drinking more water
✔️ Taking a 10-minute walk

The little things done consistently are what create results.

What’s one small habit that’s helping you right now?

✨ Fibre = your body’s quiet achiever ✨

If you’re trying to feel better, have more energy, and support your gut — fibre is a game changer.

Here’s why you need it 👇
🌿 Keeps your digestion running smoothly
🌿 Helps you feel fuller for longer (goodbye constant snacking)
🌿 Supports healthy blood sugar levels
🌿 Feeds your good gut bacteria (hello happy gut!)
🌿 Can help lower cholesterol

Easy ways to boost your fibre:
🥑 Add avocado to your meals
🍓 Snack on berries
🥗 Load up your plate with veggies
🥜 Sprinkle seeds or nuts on top of meals

Small changes = big difference 💛

Your gut will thank you!
