Breastfeeding support is hugely lacking. Lack of support from both medical and community. We need to build our village during pregnancy to set ourselves up for successful breastfeeding and a more harmonious postpartum period in general. Planning for postpartum should have a much bigger focus and needs to be addressed on all levels.

A recent study found no difference between formula and breastmilk when it came to a child's IQ. Read more about the study.
