Welcome to Dr Margo Hope! Dr Margo Hope was born and raised on her family’s farm in Far North Queensland. She was lured to the chilly temperatures of Hobart and completed her medical degree, graduating with Honours from the University of Tasmania in 2004. She did a Masters of Public Health & Tropical Medicine and then trained in Rural General Practice in Longreach in central Queensland, with advanced skills in Anaesthetics. She spent 16 years as a GP anaesthetist locuming in various locations in remote Queensland and Western Australia, including Carnarvon Hospital/ED for the last 10 years. Margo enjoys the full scope of general practice and providing ongoing care for individuals and families across all stages of life.

Margo works Tuesdays and Thursdays.
