Yesterday, our beloved Milo took her final lap around her garden, surrounded by love, cuddles and all her favourite treats. ❤️

For almost three years, Milo was so much more than our little companion — she was a very special part of the Aromatic Healing family, greeting clients, keeping Luna company and bringing so much joy, laughter and cheekiness to our days.

At nearly 15 years old, Milo leaves behind so many beautiful memories and so much love. 🐾💔

Thank you, sweet Milo, for every cuddle, every smile and for being such a special part of our lives and Aromatic Healing.

Run free gorgeous girl. You will be deeply missed. 🌈🐶❤️

Skin cancer is one of the most common — and most treatable — cancers if caught early. Regular skin checks by a doctor or dermatologist can detect suspicious spots before they become dangerous. This simple habit could literally save your life.

As a massage therapist, I see a lot of skin — backs, legs, shoulders — areas that are hard for you to check on your own. While I’m not a doctor and don’t diagnose, I can notice if something doesn’t look quite right:
☀️ A mole that’s changed shape or color
☀️ A new spot that wasn’t there before
☀️A sore that isn’t healing

If I see anything unusual during your session, I’ll gently let you know and suggest a professional skin check — just as I would for myself or a loved one. It’s part of caring for the whole you.

A skin check in winter could literally be a lifesaver—especially in a sunburn-prone country like here in Australia. Don’t wait for summer to take skin health seriously.

🌱 From one compassionate heart to another…

This is something I only recently became more aware of, and I wanted to share it with my fellow vegetarians & vegans.

Many pharmaceutical capsules are made with bovine gelatine, meaning they contain ingredients derived from cows. It’s something that’s easy to overlook when we’re doing our best to live in alignment with our values.

The good news is that some medications can be made by a compounding pharmacy using vegan-friendly capsules or alternative formulations like my HRT. Not every medication can be compounded, but it’s always worth asking your doctor or pharmacist if there’s a suitable option.

None of us can be perfect, especially when it comes to our health, but having the information gives us the opportunity to make informed, compassionate choices wherever we can. 💚🐄🌿

There’s something special about late afternoons at my home clinic. ☀️

As the sun begins to set, the treatment room is warm, peaceful and cosy, while the kangaroos 🦘 quietly wander through the back garden. It’s the perfect reminder to slow down, take a deep breath, and give yourself permission to unwind.

Life can be busy, but even one hour of self-care can make a world of difference—for tired muscles, a busy mind, and your overall wellbeing.
