2 years ago injured me would be so proud to see this (torn labrum, hamstring tendinopathy, bone oedema and grade II osteoarthritis in my right hip)

Didn’t think I would be able to be in this position again but at the start of the year I thought f**k it I’ll give it a crack and see how the hip holds up. I set out to do a sub 3:45 marathon (best time in 2023 was 3:57) and we cracked it with 3 seconds to spare. I didn’t miss a single training session for 3 months and always trusted Zo Zo’s plan .performance

3:44:57

Tessa & bongo jumping onboard the training program from the get go and ripping it up 👏🏼 proud of 3PAX

Thank you Zo Zo 🥹❤️

Kyz doggy, Meika, Lani, Kya & Archie absolutely sending it 👏🏼👏🏼

The perfect last minute dinner idea that’s super quick & ticks all the boxes! I posted this on my stories last week and I had many Qs about it so here it is x

Teriyaki bowls

500g pork mince (you could use any protein here)
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tbsp Teriyaki sauce ( I used )
1 tbsp corn starch mixed with ¼ cup water

To serve:
1 cup brown basmati rice (cooked as per packet instructions)
1 – 2 carrots julienned
¼ red cabbage shaved
2 spring onions
½ cup edamame
1 small cucumber diced
Sesame seeds
Kewpie mayo drizzle

Cook rice as per packet instructions.
Heat a pan over medium heat, add oil onion and garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add the mince and break apart whilst browning off.
Once the mince is nearly done, add the teriyaki sauce and simmer for a minute of 2 allowing it to thicken and darken. Add the cornflour and water mixture at the end, making the mince sticky. Add water as needed.
Assemble the bowls with the rice, vegetables, edamame, mince, top with spring onions, sesame seeds and kewpie mayo & ENJOY!

No time? This lunch took me 5 minutes.

Grains + beans mix, tuna, and a handful of chopped veggies, that’s it. No cooking, no prep, no worries 🙌🏽

The grains & beans mix from are awesome!

Staying on track doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to be easy enough that you’ll actually do it.

Save this for the next time “I have nothing to eat”.

The most underrated skin food costs $4 a tin. Let me tell you about sardines.

I know. Bear with me. A single 100g tin of sardines delivers:

→ ~2g EPA + DHA omega-3s (anti-inflammatory, acne + eczema + psoriasis)
→ ~270 IU vitamin D (immune regulation in skin) → ~95% of your daily selenium (glutathione peroxidase; antioxidant skin protection)
→ Zinc (sebum regulation, 5-alpha reductase inhibition)
→ Complete protein (collagen synthesis, tissue repair)
→ Calcium from the bones (skin barrier support)

All of that, in one tin, for under $4. No fish oil supplement gives you this nutrient combination. If you’re not eating oily fish 2–3x per week, this is the single highest impact food change I can recommend for inflammatory skin conditions.

Save this, send it to the person who needs to eat more sardines, and follow for more evidence-based skin nutrition. 🌿
