Let's chat fine motor skills 🖐🏼
Fine motor skills are the superheroes of small movements!🦸‍♂️They're all about using our fingers and hands for precise tasks. Why do they matter? They are essential for so many self-care, academic, and social tasks. Think picking up objects, opening a lunchbox, tying shoes and handwriting ✍🏼 Plus, they're the secret to craft, playing instruments, and even catching a ball! 🎶 🏀

How can an OT help your child develop their fine motor skills?

Happy New Year 🌟 We thought it was about time we introduced our team. This week let's meet our Director and Lead OT Tessa 👋🏼

Tessa is the co-founder and Director of Asset Therapy and is a paediatric OT. She specialises in play-based therapy, and understands that kids LOVE fun, so she brings this into every session! She is passionate about educating and equipping families, teachers and everyone involved in her clients' journeys. Tessa loves the sun, being active and considers herself an amateur chef 👩🏼‍🍳
