Ever snapped over something tiny and thought, where did that come from?
It’s usually not the small thing. It’s everything we’ve quietly stored up underneath it.
Letting Go by Dr David Hawkins puts it beautifully.

If that sounds familiar, I’m here for a chat. Nerang, in person or online.

“Why can’t I cry anymore?”
A guy asked me this after standing at his dad’s
funeral and feeling nothing. There was nothing wrong with him. When he was about eight,
he got told men don’t cry, so he stopped.
Forty years of sitting on it. The crying never went anywhere though and with a bit of safety and a bit of time, it does come back. I’ve watched it happen in men who swore they were past it.

Been reading a cracker of a book this week, Letting Go by Dr David Hawkins.
The big idea is simple. We usually bury a feeling, blurt it out, or run from it, when the
thing that actually works is just letting it be there until it passes. If you’d like a hand
learning that, I’m here in Nerang.

Angry all the time and you don’t even know why? I was, for years. Mine was never really about the slow kettle or the traffic, it was sitting on a fear that I wasn’t good enough, and angry was just easier to feel than that.

Lots of guys run on anger because it feels like being in charge of something. The stuff underneath, worry, feeling unseen, it feels like going soft, so we avoid it.

Next time you go off over nothing, have a quiet think afterwards about what was really going on for you. You might surprise yourself.

Come heavy. Leave lighter.

If your mind’s been loud lately, the kind where you’re exhausted but it just won’t switch off, this one’s for you. Here’s a few simple things that genuinely help when the thoughts won’t stop, including the one I think matters most.
Have a look, and if it sits with you, send it to someone you know who’s been carrying a lot.

The link’s there if you ever want to talk it through.

I want to write this for anyone who is exhausted but still showing up anyway because I think you deserve to hear this.

You're getting up every day. You're doing what needs to be done. You're taking care of the people and the responsibilities
around you, from the outside, you probably look completely fine. But privately, you’re running on empty. You can't remember the last time you felt genuinely rested or genuinely at peace.

You feel like you're going through the motions, flat, numb, disconnected, somewhere underneath all of it, there's probably a quiet voice asking, is this really it? Is this just what life feels like now?

What you're describing isn't weakness, it's not just stress, it's your whole system sending you a very clear signal that
something needs attention, not next month, Now.

Burnout happens to people who have been strong for too long without proper support and without someone asking how they
are. Without space to put down what they've been carrying.

The path through it isn't more willpower or better time management. It's slowing down enough to ask what's underneath all this? What's been driving the engine?
Those are tender questions. But they're the ones that lead somewhere real.
I offer a Free 15 minutes call, seriously, you've given enough of yourself to everyone else. This one's just for you.

I want to talk about something that I see all the time in my work, because I think it's causing a lot of unnecessary pain.
Most people who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, or emotional exhaustion have already done a lot of work on
themselves. They've tried therapy. They've read books. They've downloaded the apps and done the breathing and gone to the yoga class and yes, it's helped a little. For a while. But then the same feelings come back. The same patterns. The same heaviness and they start to wonder if this is just how they are, If maybe they'll always be like this.
That belief breaks my heart a little. Because it's not true.
The reason the same things keep coming back isn't that they're broken. It's that almost everything they've tried has been aimed at the symptoms not the root cause.
Please know, coping strategies are valuable. But they're a bit like pumping air into a tyre with a slow leak. It works. But, eventually you're back at the pump again.

What creates lasting change is finding the puncture. Going back to where it actually started. Understanding what happened, and what you've been carrying ever since.

That's the work I do with people. And it looks different to most things they've tried before.
If you're tired of going in circles, I offer a free 15 minute chat no pressure, no sales pitch. Just a genuine conversation.
