The phrase "pity party" has come up a lot in recent conversations, and it got me thinking...
We all have moments when life feels unfair. Moments when we want to sit in our disappointment, replay our setbacks, and focus on everything that went wrong. And that's okay—for a while. But don't build a home in a place you were only meant to visit.
A pity party may offer temporary comfort, but it won't create lasting change. Growth begins the moment you stop asking, "Why is this happening to me?" and start asking, "What can I do next?"
Your struggles deserve acknowledgment, but they don't deserve control. Feel it. Process it. Learn from it. Then stand up, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward.
The strongest people aren't those who never fall—they're the ones who refuse to stay down.
