Iâve been thinking about how often we dress things up as âconfusingâ when, deep down, we already know the answer. We analyse every angle, replay every conversation, search for more signs, more certainty, more permission. Not because the situation is unclear but because the straightforward choice asks something from us.
And sometimes, we go a step further; we tell ourselves, âMaybe this is what the Universe/God intended.â Not always out of faith, but because itâs comforting. Because it helps us avoid the weight of making a difficult decision ourselves.
Clarity can feel uncomfortable because simple decisions often come with real consequences. They ask for honesty. Boundaries. Change. Courage.
Itâs easier to sit in the grey area and call it âcomplicatedâ than to say, âI know what I need to do. Iâm just scared to do it.â
Maybe the real question isnât, âWhat should I do?â Maybe itâs, âDo I have the courage to do what I already know is right?â
Sometimes, the path is clear. Itâs just not easy.
