In Loving Memory of Janette Elizabeth Frazer Barnes
20 June 1977 – 7 August 2026 🤍🕊️

Early hours yesterday morning with heavy hearts, we said goodbye to our beautiful friend, Janette.

Janette faced more challenges than most people will ever know. She lived with incredible strength, courage and determination, even when life became unimaginably difficult. Through every setback, she continued to fight, holding onto hope and wanting every opportunity to keep going.

Behind her gentle smile was a kind and caring soul who touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a beautiful heart, and despite everything she endured, she continued to show kindness, resilience and compassion.

It has been a privilege for all of us at Bliss Disability Support Services to walk alongside Janette throughout her journey. Together, we shared many conversations, moments of laughter, challenges and achievements that will forever remain in our hearts. She became more than a participant to us; she became part of the Bliss family.

As the sun sets over the ocean and the footprints fade into the sand, we find comfort in knowing that Janette is finally free from pain. Although she is no longer with us, her strength, courage and gentle spirit will continue to inspire us every day.

May you now walk peacefully along Heaven’s shores, with the angels beside you and God carrying you whenever the path became too difficult to walk alone.

Janette, your journey may have ended, but your memory will live on in the hearts of everyone whose lives you touched.

✅ Certificate III in Individual Support (or currently studying)
✅ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
✅ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
✅ Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
✅ Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A caring, person-centred approach and a genuine passion for helping others

Bliss Disability Support Services is excited to announce that we will be relocating our office to a new location from mid-July 2026.

This move has been carefully planned to provide a more secure, professional and welcoming environment for our participants, visitors and staff.

One of the key reasons for relocating is to enhance the safety and security of our office staff while strengthening the protection of confidential participant and organisational information. Our new premises offer improved security, greater privacy and upgraded facilities, allowing us to continue delivering the high-quality, person-centred supports you have come to expect while ensuring sensitive information is managed safely and securely.

What this means for you

✅ Your supports and services will continue as normal.

✅ There will be no interruption to your scheduled supports during the relocation.

✅ Our phone numbers, email addresses and after-hours support arrangements will remain exactly the same.

✅ Any appointments booked after our relocation will take place at our new Surfers Paradise office.

✅ If any appointments need to be rescheduled during the relocation period, a member of our team will contact you directly.

At Bliss Disability Support Services, we know that great support starts with great leadership. Behind every participant, every support worker, and every success story is a dedicated management team committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and disability services, Adam founded Bliss with a vision of providing high-quality, participant-focused support. His passion is ensuring every participant has the opportunity to live their best life while building a workplace where staff feel valued and supported.

👩 Bianca – Service Manager
Bianca oversees the day-to-day operations of our services, ensuring participants receive the highest standard of care. She is passionate about matching participants with the right support workers and creating positive outcomes for everyone involved.

I’d love to introduce one of the newest members of the Bliss Disability Support Services team, Ezekiel! 💙

Ezekiel brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to his role as a Support Worker. As an MBA Graduate and holder of a Certificate III in Individual Support, he combines professional qualifications with a genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

With more than three years of experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, Ezekiel is committed to promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing through person-centred support. His caring nature, strong communication skills, and commitment to excellence make him a fantastic addition to the Bliss family.

Outside of work, Ezekiel enjoys playing football, bowling, watching movies, and exploring new opportunities for personal growth and learning. His positive attitude and desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others are evident in everything he does.
