Home. Mum and Dad. 5min from Charles Bridge, walking the streets where I played skákat gumu with the elastic band, and hide and seek behind doorways older than my great-grandparents.

My son is with me this time. He now knows our corners, our stories, the same ones I grew up on.

The tram still sounds the same.

The ice cream shop and the herb shop on the corner have not changed in hundreds of years.

Fresh cherries, strawberries, blueberries, a farmers market hidden behind every second building. The food!!

The cobbled stones underfoot. Not for heels 😄.

Twenty years in corporate took me far from these streets physically but not away from my heart.

"My daughter picked the Magical Treehouse. Then, after her session, she skipped to the car asking when she could come back."

That's what K. told me, after sessions with her and her daughter. Separate appointments, not together...to honour them both individually.

K's daughter had a choice of a story - a Magical Treehouse, Superpower Glasses, or a Boat Adventure. She picked the treehouse...then, we played with crystals and talked about life.

K.'s own words, from her session: "I've noticed a real shift in myself and seeing my daughter feel calmer and more balanced has meant so much to me."

People ask why we work with children at all.

This is why - not to fix anything, just to give a young imagination space and really listen. They often find solutions to their own problems easily, after their session. 🩷

That is what P. shared me after her second session. Not "I felt energised" - she walked 8km, twice around her local lake, something she hadn't done since her toddlers were born.

Twenty years in corporate taught me to read a room...

Reading a nervous system, it turns out I had been doing that since I was a kid, without knowing it...professionally, for nearly 10 years now.

A real & published study followed 66 children with leukemia. Their hearts, breathing, and temperature stayed exactly the same either way.

What changed? Their PAIN went down, and their quality of life went up, compared with children who got a placebo version of the treatment or nothing at all.

Published in the European Journal of Oncology Nursing, Vol 81, 2026. Researchers were clear - use it alongside medical treatment.

Upper Coomera library, 21 August. Our last much loved session with this wonderful community before we head to Prague for the month.

Every circle is different - some weeks it is ten people, some weeks the room is full. What stays the same is what happens once everyone settles: shoulders drop, breathing slows, the room gets quiet in a good way.
