A little look inside our Motherhood Village space. 🤍

This is what you’ll see when you walk through our doors.

A calm, welcoming space where mums can sit down, take a breath and know they’re not alone in facing mental health, overwhelm or isolation during pregnancy, postpartum or in the early motherhood years.

Our beautiful Peer Leader Sophie shared these photos of our rooms and the little details that make the space feel safe, comfortable and welcoming.

There’s no judgement here. Just connection, understanding and support from people who get it.

We’re really proud of the space we’ve created for Gold Coast mothers.

I’m incredibly inspired by these two women, Hannah and Tessa, who are Imrie and Noah’s mums.

Both are deeply passionate about supporting bereaved families and have turned their experiences of loss into a commitment to helping other Gold Coast parents navigate the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a baby.

Spending time with them at the Waves of Change Conference has made me even more determined to do what I can to support them as they lead the way in improving support for bereaved families across the Gold Coast.

Very proud to work alongside these incredible women. 🤍

“Just knowing this opportunity exists has been life changing. A space to feel heard, where my voice matters, is lifesaving.”

This is why Motherhood Village exists.

When you attend Motherhood Village, you can also access our care navigation, trusted resources and connections to other services and professional support tailored to your needs.

Yesterday our Peer Leaders and Resident Grandmas had the privilege of completing CPR and First Aid training with Scott from First Aid Accident & Emergency First Aid Accident & Emergency, and we can honestly say it was hands down the most engaging and practical first aid training we’ve ever attended.

Scott and Mel have an incredible way of making CPR and first aid not only easy to understand, but genuinely relevant to the situations we may encounter while supporting mothers, babies and families in our community. Scott’s knowledge, experience and passion for teaching shone through every part of the day.

Thank you First Aid Accident & Emergency for your ongoing support of Motherhood Village and for the difference you make right across our community. We especially love that you offer your fortnightly Baby First Aid courses, making essential life-saving knowledge accessible to parents and carers. It’s a service that empowers families and will help to save lives.

You guys are awesome! đź’™

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at for choosing to support Motherhood Village through their June community giving initiative.

Thanks to the generosity of Quest Robina and everyone who stayed with them during June, a donation has been made to help us continue providing free mental health peer support to mothers and families across the Gold Coast.

Community partnerships like this make a real difference. Every dollar helps us create safe spaces where mothers feel seen, supported and connected, ensuring no mother has to navigate the challenges of motherhood alone.

Thank you, , for believing in our mission and helping us continue this vital work. We are so grateful to have you as part of our village. đź’›

Welcome to our new home. 🌼

This is more than just a room. It’s a safe space where mothers can walk through the door exactly as they are… whether they’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, anxious, grieving, facing mental health, recovering, or simply looking for connection.

Every week, this space becomes a place of hope, healing and belonging. It’s where mums find understanding through lived experience, and access the support they need to navigate mental health challenges during pregnancy and early motherhood.

It’s also a place for collaboration. We believe the best care happens when community comes together, and we’re proud to open our doors to like-minded organisations, health professionals and community partners who share our commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of mothers and families across the Gold Coast.

Together, we can create a stronger village of care where no mother is left to face motherhood alone.

If you’d like to learn more about partnering with us, enquire about using our space, or book into one of our free mental health peer support groups, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out - we’re here to help. 💛

This week is Birth Trauma Awareness Week. 🤍

Birth trauma can happen after any birth, regardless of how it looked from the outside. If your birth experience has left you feeling overwhelmed, distressed, or struggling long after your baby arrived, please know this:

You are not alone, and your experience is valid.

Healing is possible, and support is available.

If you’re looking for support, you might consider reaching out to:
🤍 Gidget Foundation Australia – provides free psychological support for expectant and new parents.
🤍 PANDA (Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia) – offers a national helpline and support for perinatal mental health.
🤍 COPE (Centre of Perinatal Excellence) – provides trusted information, resources, and screening tools.
🤍 Your GP, midwife, obstetrician, or maternal child health nurse, who can help connect you with local services.
🤍 Local peer support groups, like those offered through Motherhood Village, where you can connect with others who understand that every journey into motherhood is different.

You don’t have to carry this alone. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength, and there are people who will listen, believe you, and walk alongside you.

If this resonates with you, we want you to know that we’re here. 🤍
