I had time to reflect today & the truth of the matter is many of us are mothers of big kids or little kids.

Without our very own village we cannot show up & be present with our mamas.

So thank you to everyone husband, partner, and friend who helps us immerse into the birth world when we are called ✨️

This deserves a spot in my grid 🔦

When a parent says no, it means no.

How often we hear family, friends or whoever say
"just a little won't hurt". When you've clearly said no!

Respecting a parents boundaries is so important at all stages.
Birth example - a parent choice to use a pacifier or not.
If the parent choose to that's their choice!
If the parent choose not to, don't just pull one out and give it to them for your sake.

Parent choosing particular foods or not for their child.
That is their choice!
The sooner we start respecting one another's choices the better 🙏.

*As long as that choice doesn't harm or injur anothers life.

Like all my "last" doula support days. Today was so beautifully wholesome, full of love and intention.

The journey I have walked with these 2 amazing humans has been nothing but pure joy.

The energy, the communication, the honesty, the vulnerability, the love & the best laughs!
Watching this mama grow and bring her her gorgeous boy into this world.

Thank you, & Ollie, for welcoming me with warm hugs into your lives to witness one of most precious humans bring you su h 💙
