“It is really amazing what people can do. Only they don't know what they can do.”

One of the beauties of what I offer my client’s is hypnotherapy. Once they begin to realise that they are not only more than who they think they are, they begin to increase their mental agility.

Today, I was fortunate to witness one of those moments when my client had a “aha” moment.

“And you know that if you want to change the reflection in the glass mirror you don't go to the reflection and attempt to make it change. In order for you to see the change in the reflection you must change yourself”. In other words, the reflection in our external reality (the environment around us) act much the same way. When we are attempting to change the reality of our external environment, we must begin to first see the change in ourself.

A concept I’ve used through out my personal development journey.. trust me the outcome includes less stress, less pressure and a greater fulfilling life journey thereby creating the reality you desire.. after all... change begins from within ❤️

Are you IN flow or going WITH the flow?

Would you agree that there is no point looking back into the past? We can only learn from our experience right? What we can all learn to do is live in the now and be open to possibilities as we watch the unfolding events of our world.

I remember before Covid hit I was preparing to start up a RTO. A school that offered holistic health services such as massage, mindfulness, mindset coaching, etc. Unfortunately this did not eventuate and instead I started a company called MindHealth Services after noting during my time in corporate that there was not enough injury preventative strategies put into the corporate workplace. My goal is to teach leaders in the workplace strategic coping strategies on how to become better leaders during uncertain times whilst building resilience and preventing burnout.

Here’s the thing, tough times don't last but tough people do. There are always going to be times when something comes up that we need to prepare for or anticipate for change. The problem is when the need for certainty, security and control tends to take over our lives and our overall wellbeing.

The truth is, we cannot escape from the uncertainties of life. The one thing we can be certain of is that there will be uncertainty.

Here’s an example on how uncertainty played out in my daughters life recently. First day of school term 2 my daughter comes home in tears. “What happened”, I said. “My classes have changed. They moved me into another science and maths class” My daughter continued, “I don’t know anyone in those class, the teachers in that class are all mean, I feel completely alone. I just want to go back to my usual class”. My daughter was unhappy, in distress and clearly not responding well to change.

Here’s the thing, change in life is certain. Good days and bad days are certain. Rainy days and sunny days are certain. Good people and bad people are certain. Day and night are certain. Days where you will be triggered are certain. The one thing that you can rely on is change. Change is movement and movement is life. How blessed are we to experience this life in all its glory despite the obscurities.

Despite the ever changing frequencies, direction and energies in life all around us, I invite you to be IN the flow. We might be able to influence the outer world to some degree, but we certainly cannot control the world around us. The only way to win this game of life is when we learn to take charge of what happens withIN us.

Change may not always be welcome, but change is the key to progress. Our lives are enriched by change and when we allow ourselves to be flexible, we become open to opportunities that come our way through the ever changing obstacles of life.

What’s the solution? I think Bruce Lee said it best:
"Be Water, My Friend. Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water. You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

I could have easily sat here for hours… here’s the thing that we can often forget. No matter what happens in life, no matter what challenges, no matter the ups and downs, nature is always waiting. Waiting for us to return. Nature is always there with its arms wide open fully embracing our entire being. No judgment, just simply being one in that moment. Get yourself in nature friends. ☀️Have an attitude of gratitude today, tomorrow, and for the rest of your life why? Cause studies show amazing "physical and psychosocial benefits.” Other findings were, "fewer health complaints, and exercised an average of 1.5 hours more" so there you go. Friends who have asked me in the past how I get motivated to exercise, here's one way to get started.

☀️That's how simple a daily dose of gratitude has on one person.. the report goes on to say then that regular practise of gratitude added "more emotional support or help with a personal problem, indicating that the gratitude exercise increased their goodwill towards others, or more technically, their “pro-social” motivation"
