I just wanted to pop this here as I have been feeling all the feels for a few days now. If you’ve been feeling a little flat, anxious, emotional, tired or just
blah lately, you’re definitely not alone. đŸ€

Energetically, we’re coming out of the intensity of the 8/8 Lion’s Gate period, and the days afterwards can feel much more like integration than elevation. Also on top we are in an eclipse portal until 28th August. Thanks Polly Polixeni for confirming that, I now have some hope that brighter days are ahead 🙏

Sometimes after periods of heightened energy, doing, processing and pushing, the nervous system finally begins to slow down and strangely, that doesn’t always feel peaceful at first. It can feel heavy, irritable, emotional, unmotivated or like you just want to retreat from everything.

Not every low-energy day means something is wrong or that you need to “fix” yourself. This is what I have been scrambling to do, but the universe will do whatever it takes for me to sit in my sh*t and take a good look at what is not in alignment. It hasn’t been very pleasant to say the least, the anxiety and feeling low is something I haven’t felt for a long time, and it’s not just me feeling this, my family are just blah too.

Sometimes your body and energy are simply asking for less doing and more allowing.

Rest. Ground. Hydrate. Get outside. Be gentle with yourself.

You don’t always need to understand the shift to honour it. đŸ€ but if you are like me, then you need every little detail đŸ€ŁđŸ«Ł which is not always the way forward, as you are just distracting from what truly needs to be addressed at that time.

Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is pause before life forces us to. This time, I chose to listen before the “wheels fell off”

One of the things I’ve learnt is that many people can plan their holidays months in advance. The work I do is different. It asks me to be fully present for every person who walks through my door, so I’ve made a promise to myself to listen to my body and take time when I need it, not when I’m already running on empty and so depleted, that’s not fair to me, my family or my clients. So sometimes my “holidays” may be impromptu.

I believe we can only truly hold space for others when we’ve first taken care of ourselves. This time, I chose to practise what I so often encourage my clients to do.

That space has brought growth, clarity, and reminded me just how passionate I am about the work I do. Also showed me how much sleep I actually needed, it was school holidays and I slept a minimum of 9/10 hours solid! đŸ€

My mission has always been to nurture, inspire, love unconditionally, and offer hope. That mission begins with me too. Taking this time reminded me that I can’t pour from an empty cup, and I would never ask my clients to do something I wasn’t willing to do myself.

I’m now opening my books to welcome new clients, and I have a few appointments available this Wednesday.

If you’ve been feeling called to slow down, reconnect, and receive some nurturing, I’d love to support you.

You can book your session using the link below.

Thank you so much to all of you who reached out after my post about taking a little break, I honestly did not expect any messages or think it would raise any concern, but apparently people who know me, know it takes a lot for me to take a break from my work and announce it so publicly. I thought I could post and fly under the radar for a while, but obviously not with those who know me well đŸ„°. Life is a rollercoaster and that's for sure, but one thing I have learnt is, we have a choice, you can choose to stay on that rollercoaster or get off, life is full of ups and downs, it's a part of the human journey and is the hardest journey our souls will ever take, I have had a tough few days on the rollercoaster of life, but was in allowance of that, as the saying goes "no rain, no flowers". after the rain left, life presented us with so many flowers, in many forms, including your beautiful messages, my amazing friends and through our beautiful children, Skye Lily, Indi Rose, & of course Cody but he didn't get a flower name much to his relief. Today the dishwasher was put on, I said to Cody “ please turn that off, the dishwasher is only half full” his reply was “ I love your mindset Mum, you could have said it was half empty” I was like ah yes I get it, the cup half full or half empty but just bloody turn it off, now is not the time for personal development lessons Cody đŸ€Ł

I am the same as anyone else I have times when life can be hard and I go quiet and inward, and some days are better than others, what I do as a profession doesn’t make me bullet proof, I am constantly growing and learning, and through every hard time, there is always an invaluable lesson to be learnt. đŸ™ŒđŸ» Taking this time has helped me to be more present and enjoy the little things in life, like being a dance Mum and doing hair which is usually my least favourite thing to do 💝

I love this, I have been saying this a lot with my clients recently and reframing my own thoughts when I am dragging my heels. The first time it landed with me was one morning a few years back my teen son didn’t want to go to school, also he had to ride his bike there which added to his resistance. Then he said “ Ok I GET to go to school and I GET to ride my bike” and off he went 😍 he didn’t learn that from me, it was something he taught me from mentors called “Top Blokes” who ran a program at his school 🙏

I saw this on a post today, and it resonated with me, for so many reasons, but one example in particular that comes to mind is my youngest Indi-Rose 11 years old, I got in from work Friday night at 9.30pm, she ran to me like she always does with a big smile and hug. She had been messaging numerous times throughout the evening “Mumma when will you be home” She knows when I get in I need time to decompress, in her innocence she says “I know you need time to decompose but
.,,” đŸ€Ł I know my work can be sometimes hard but I am not at the stage of decomposing just yet! Anyhow on Friday night I knew I had to take time with her before I “decomposed” in her words. The beauty of the work I do is that I am here every morning for the kids and 2 nights I work late. She needed to talk, she was super emotional, she said “Mumma it’s hard to be always the happy one, and be the person people come to as they think you are so okay, today I was sad and feeling down, I love my friends but they are not used to seeing me sad or someone who needs help, but I do sometimes, but I don’t feel like I am being taken seriously when i am sad or feeling left out, and it’s getting me down and it’s so hard to always keep it all together and be so happy all the time, I am usually so happy but some days I am not and I hate those days, as people think something is wrong but it’s not, I just have days where I find it harder, as you say mum, somedays are better than others ” bless her heart 😍 I can so relate 😔 be kind and don’t ever judge someone on one bad day, maybe take a step back, and realise it’s not a reflection on what you may have or haven’t done, it’s simply how they are feeling and nothing got to do with you at all 🙏

People mean well.

They offer advice.

They tell you how strong you are.

They say things like “they’d want you to be happy,” or “at least they’re not suffering.”

They talk about closure. About moving on. About staying positive.

But here’s the thing—

Until you’ve sat in the front row at a funeral

Until you’ve looked at a casket and felt like the world cracked open

Until you’ve had to stand there and say goodbye when you weren’t ready—

You don’t really know.

You don’t know how grief rearranges every part of you.

You don’t know how long the silence lasts after everyone else goes back to normal.

You don’t know what it’s like to carry someone in your heart because you can no longer carry them in your life.

So, if you haven’t been there yet, I’m truly glad.

I hope that day doesn’t come for you for a very, very long time.

But please—

Don’t tell me how I should be grieving.

Don’t tell me what joy should look like right now.

Just sit with me. Walk beside me.

Or let me be.

Because unless you’ve sat in the front row

You don’t get to hold the mic.

*Vulnerable share* I am so passionate and pour my heart in to the service I provide in my work space with clients, it can be so rewarding to see so many transformations, having clients open up and share with me, some things they may not have even spoken out loud, some who truly feel they don’t want to be here anymore, and I get that, I explain from my own lived experiences, that I felt like it’s not that I wanted to leave this world, it was because the pain had become too heavy and felt unbearable to carry, but we have epic breakthroughs after even one session.

Then there are times like this, where my heart is so heavy, I sponsor cancer patients and their carers who come on my radar, I do this in memory of my brother who lost his fight to cancer at 19. Alan found great comfort and ease in energy healing after his chemo. I am 4 years younger than Alan, so I was about 12 years old when he started going to the energy healer, but I was so amazed by how this “weird” guy helped him đŸ€ŁđŸ«Ł Yesterday I received a message from my clients wife, Ryan was only 37 with 2 young girls, stage 4 bowel cancer that had spread to his lungs and other parts of his body, he shared with me in our sessions that he wasn’t scared of dying he had made peace with that, he was worried about his wife and 2 young daughters, family and friends he leaves behind, and how they would cope. If love alone could have saved Ryan, he would have lived forever. Hold your loved ones close. I am truly blown away that at a time where Ryan’s amazing beautiful wife’s world has been completely shattered, she thought that much of me to let me know and thank me for helping his pain feel manageable, feeling feerer & lighter, what a honour and privilege to be able to provide that for him 🙏😱 Rest in Peace Ryan. 💔
