Bronwen lost her brother Mark to su***de in 2008 after supporting him for a number of years.
In 2011, Bronwen Edwards founded ‘Roses in the Ocean’, a lead organisation for lived experience, which exists to save lives and reduce emotional pain by informing, influencing and enhancing su***de prevention through lived experience, and supporting organisations to effectively and meaningfully engage lived experience expertise.
It is a driving force behind several ground-breaking initiatives influencing su***de prevention policy and strategies, health system reform, integration of su***de prevention into workplaces and designing non-clinical alternatives of care.
Join us on Tuesday 4th August, 6 pm at G01_3.36 to hear from Bronwen Edwards and gain unique insight into treating mental health in male patients. Griffith Psychiatry Society Griffith Psychology & Counselling Assocation
