I recorded this video a few minutes ago. He didn’t come to be fed; he was just happily singing songs. I know magpies are very clever, but I didn’t know just how clever they were until now.
Listen to his professional performance—I can almost hear other birds singing and a dog barking. 🧐 Can you hear it? He was imitating them, wasn‘t he? 😂 After this video, he sang for another 2–3 minutes and then went into the garden.
I wasn’t feeling as cheerful as usual today, but somehow he knew how to cheer me up. I’m so grateful — he is my wonderful boy magpie. 💕
