We have just opened up a couple of spaces in our NDIS women’s connection group on Mondays at 10:00am.

This group is designed for a women to connect with each other, develop friendships, enhance self confidence, through engaging activities involving horsemanship and art. Support workers welcome to attend alongside the participant.

We have just had a space open up in each of our Horse Whispering youth Program on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. For ages 6-12 (Thursday) or 12-18 (Wednesday), 8-week program starting this week. Please see attached flyer for program outcomes.

This program is run by therapists and focuses on building confidence, resilience, emotional regulation and responsibility.

Participants may be able to access NDIS funding. Connect and Thrive is a registered NDIS provider. We can also provide a letter of participation to support absence from school.

This is a great parenting program being offered for free in Oxenford.

This FREE five session, evidence-based parenting program focuses on the emotional connection between parents and children. It teaches parenting skills in emotion coaching, which is to recognise, understand and respond to children’s emotions in an accepting and supportive way. This helps the child to understand and manage their emotions with long term positive outcomes.

🥳 Celebrating 1 year with us 🎉

It’s official… Di has been with Coneect and Thrive for 1 year today.
Di is our lead group facilitator and therapy assistant, leading the way with our horse programs and Equine-assisted learning sessions on the farm. 🐴

We have been blessed to have this amazing lady join our team with her positive energy, resilience and enthusiasm.

You can see the connection Di has made with our horses, the farm and our team. 🙌

The level of thought and effort that Di puts into each and every person and program shines through her outgoing, bubbly and magnetic personality. We are lucky to have you as part of our team!

Designed for children aged 6–12, our weekly Kids Country is a place where childhood is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged and adventures unfold naturally. Social and emotional skills program

🐴Horse Whispering Youth Program - One Extraordinary Program. Two Age Groups.
Built on the internationally recognised Circle of Courage® framework, our award-winning 8-week equine learning program helps young people build confidence, resilience, responsibility and a stronger sense of self through meaningful interactions with horses. Schools may also approve participation during school hours, with a Letter of Participation provided for eligible absences.

🧘🏼‍♀️Parent & Carer Support Group
Supporting others can be rewarding, but it can also be demanding. This 4-weekly group has been designed specifically for parents and carers supporting higher-needs young people, providing a space to pause, reflect, connect and receive support alongside others who understand the journey.
Wednesdays: 11:30am – 1:00pm. Commencing Wednesday 22 July running over a 4-week commitment period. (Available)

Our Monday Life Skills & Connection Programs continue to grow with wonderful connections with meaning being formed.

Our new property in Guanaba has no name and we need our community’s help to name our farm.

We have a surprise giveaway to the person who comes up with the name and it sticks.

A bit about the farm/ranch:

🐴 We have horses, ponies, goats, chickens, bird, dogs, and other wildlife
💦 We have a beautiful river (Coomera river) on a beautiful corner with a stream
🏠 We are on a hill / valley
💧we have a spring fed dam
🏚️There is an old rustic heritage shack
🌳 There is a magical forest alongside the river bed

😊 We run Equine-Assisted therapy & Psychology on the farm
🐐 Our animals are part of our family, all with their own unique personalities

Perfect weather for jackets and campfires on the school holidays.

Over the past two days our kids explored nature, moved their bodies, engaged in dynamic risk taking, navigated social dynamics, collaborated, engaged in team work, and made connections. All of this whilst having loads of fun!
