Molly works with both children and adults across a range of communication and swallowing needs, bringing a client-centred, strengths-based approach to every client she supports, delivering therapy that is goal-directed, functional, and meaningful to everyday life.

🧠June is , and most people have never even heard of it.

Aphasia is a communication disorder that can affect a person's ability to speak, understand, read, and write. It's usually caused by a stroke or brain injury; it's more common than cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, ALS, Parkinson's disease, and muscular dystrophy... combined.

📊 The numbers:
✔️ Nearly 140,000 new cases are acquired every year
✔️ Around 1 in 3 stroke survivors develops aphasia
✔️ Nearly 9 out of 10 people say they've never heard the term

Aphasia doesn't affect intelligence, it affects the ability to express it. People with aphasia have the same thoughts, feelings, and personality. They just need more time, patience, and understanding.
