We are delighted to welcome Bonnie Ray to the Vista team.
Bonnie is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology PhD candidate with experience across psychological therapy, assessment, public mental health, occupational rehabilitation and autism-focused research.
Bonnie works with adults seeking a calm, thoughtful and structured psychologist. For people experiencing anxiety, stress, overthinking, low mood, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, burnout, perfectionism, neurodivergence-related challenges, relationship difficulties or recurring emotional patterns, Bonnie offers a respectful and considered space to better understand what is happening and begin finding a clearer way forward.
Her approach is warm, practical and evidence-informed, while also being careful and formulation-driven. Bonnie draws on ACT, CBT, Schema Therapy, DBT-informed skills and humanistic approaches, tailoring support to the person rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.
Bonnie’s doctoral research focuses on childhood emotional neglect in autistic adults, including trauma, attachment, emotional development and adverse relational experiences. This gives her a strong interest in neurodiversity-affirming care and the deeper developmental and relational patterns that can shape adult mental health and wellbeing.
Bonnie is available for private clients, Medicare clients where eligible, and NDIS clients who are plan-managed or self-managed where the referral is within scope.
For adults looking for a thoughtful, calm and evidence-informed psychologist within a discreet private practice environment, Bonnie has availability at Vista Advanced Psychological Therapy.
Bonnie will be available for appointments from 08 July 2026.
Welcome to the team, Bonnie.
