Meet Victoria!

Victoria brings a vibrant, energetic, and grounding approach to movement. An ocean lover at heart, if she’s not in the studio, you’ll most likely find her somewhere in the water.

With a background in dance, Victoria teaches Pilates, Barre, and Stretch classes that combine strong technique with fluidity, musicality, and feel-good movement. Her Power Pilates and Barre classes are high-energy, rhythm-driven, and subtly dance-inspired — designed to challenge, energise, and leave you feeling empowered.

In her Mat Pilates classes, Victoria focuses on building a strong foundation through more traditional Pilates principles, with attention to alignment, control, and hands-on adjustments to help clients move with confidence and precision.

Her Stretch & Release sessions are an invitation to slow down, melt stress away, and reconnect with yourself through deep stretching, breathwork, and the release of both physical and emotional tension.

As someone who practically lives in activewear, Victoria also founded her own activewear brand SYSTR.

Meet Miki!

A certified Balanced Body Pilates Instructor with a background in swimming and water skiing, who started her Pilates journey in Japan. Living with scoliosis herself, Pilates has helped her create better balance in her body and move through daily life with more ease and comfort.

Her teaching style focuses on gentle, natural movement that supports strength, mobility, and body awareness through mindful and flowing movement patterns. She’s passionate about creating a supportive space where clients can feel more connected to their bodies, move with confidence, and build sustainable strength for everyday life .

You can join her classes weekly at our Tugun Beach reformer studio!
✨Fridays at 3pm
✨Saturdays at 6:45am, 8am, 9:15am for group classes and at 10:30am for a semi private class.

Smaller movements don’t mean easier work.

Barre is a fusion between Ballet, Pilates and Yoga.

Barre is one of our more intense classes, which gets you burning in all the right places, creating long and lean muscles.

Because the movements are smaller and more controlled, there’s less momentum to rely on, which means the muscles have to stay engaged for longer.

That’s usually where people start to notice the difference, particularly through the hips, legs and postural muscles.

It’s not about how quickly you move through it, but how well you can hold and support the position.

For people who spend a lot of time sitting or working at a desk, this can be a really helpful way to bring the body back into a more supported position.

Coming back into movement isn’t always about doing more, it’s about doing it properly.
Most people don’t want to lose strength, but they also don’t want to aggravate something that’s already not quite right.

That’s usually where a more controlled approach becomes important.
Reformer allows strength to be rebuilt in a way that is supported and adaptable to how your body is moving on the day.

At Tugun, classes are kept small so we have time to observe, guide and adjust where needed, rather than expecting everyone to move through the same thing in the same way.

For many people, that’s what allows confidence to return, because they’re not left guessing, they’re being guided through the process.

The way your body moves is usually a reflection of how it’s being used day to day.

If you’re sitting for long periods, training in a certain way, or carrying stress through the body, that tends to show up in movement patterns over time.
Tightness, imbalance and a lack of stability don’t usually come from one moment, but from repetition.

At The Body Method, our focus is on helping people build a strong, controlled and healthy body, and that starts with understanding how the body is actually functioning - not just working through exercises.

That’s why we place such a strong emphasis on positioning, alignment and quality of movement, and why our instructors are trained to look at how the whole body is working together, not just the area that feels tight or weak.

When that starts to shift, even slightly, it often carries into everyday life.
Movement feels easier.
Posture feels more supported.
The body feels more capable overall.

It’s not about doing more, but about doing things in a way that allows the body to function well over time.

A lot of people come to Pilates because something in their body doesn’t feel quite right, even if they can’t fully explain what it is.

It might be stiffness, a lack of strength, or just a sense that things aren’t moving or supporting them the way they used to.

All of our instructors are trained to look at how the body is functioning as a whole, so rather than just working the area that feels tight or weak, we look at how everything is working together and what the body might actually need.

That’s where Pilates - when it’s taught with attention to positioning, control and alignment - becomes something more than just exercise. It becomes a way of understanding how your body moves and how to support it properly.

Over time, that approach tends to build a different kind of strength - one that feels more stable, more supported, and more reliable in day-to-day life.

It’s not usually one big change that makes the difference, but a series of smaller adjustments, guided well, that allow the body to move back towards balance.
