I’ve been a little quiet this week after fracturing my shoulder 🤍
A gentle healing update — I’m home and taking things day by day. It’s going to take some time to recover, so for now I’m giving my body the rest and space it needs 🌿
I’m putting my usual work and movement on hold and allowing myself to slow down.
Through my yoga and meditation practice over the years, I’ve learnt something about softening into the pause...about patience, listening, trusting and allowing things to unfold in their own time 🌱
It’s not always easy when life suddenly changes direction, but I’m learning to meet this pause with that same patience and curiosity. To notice what it’s showing me, what feels right, where my energy belongs and what I may need to let go of.
I’m also reminded that listening to ourselves doesn’t mean doing everything alone.
We need connection and community too...people who see us, support us and allow us to be human without having it all together. 🤍
I’m deeply grateful for the beautiful people who have checked in, reached out and offered their care. These simple acts of connection have reminded me how precious genuine community is. 🌿
Perhaps this pause is a redirection.
I don’t know where it’s leading yet, and for now, I don’t need to.
I’m listening
Resting
Receiving
Healing 🤍
If you’re moving through an unexpected pause too, perhaps it’s an invitation to slow down, listen inwardly and allow yourself to be supported.
Sometimes we already know what we need... we just need enough quiet to hear it 🤍🙏
