Dental Health Week 2026 starts today! 🦷✨

This week (3–9 August) is all about celebrating your smile. This year, the ‘𝐌𝐲 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞’ campaign focuses on the oral health of young Australians aged 18–25.

Young Australians access health information differently than previous generations, often turning to social media or online influencers ahead of qualified professionals.

That’s why this year’s campaign is all about providing reliable, evidence-based guidance and highlighting the importance of seeing a dentist before small issues turn into major, costly problems.

We recently brought members together for an engaging clinical session focused on Invasive Cervical Resorption, exploring how to confidently identify, assess and manage complex resorptive cases in practice.

The session delivered practical, evidence‑based insights including:
- Differentiating internal and external resorption
- Treatment and monitoring strategies
- Risk profiling and referral decision‑making
- Real‑world case discussions
