From the treatment room to the trails 🩺 ⛰️ Tristyn clocked up a 36.8km solo run through Bungonia today as the training continues for the 100km Lonely Mountain Ultra 🏃‍♂️⛰️

There’s something pretty great about seeing the person who spends his days encouraging others to move, challenge themselves and work towards their goals doing exactly the same himself.

✅ 36.8km in the legs
✅ Plenty of wildlife along the way 🦘
✅ NO FALLS TODAY — always a bonus 😂
✅ New nutrition trialled thanks to Brady Nan 🙌

The fuelling worked really well, with a few lessons around how much hydration and nutrition he’ll need to carry as those long runs get even longer.

A big day out, plenty learned, and another step closer to 100km at Lonely Mountain Ultra. 💪

🎈 A slightly different Saturday morning for Bonnie and Tristyn from Step 1 Physio!

We swapped our usual morning run for a hot air balloon flight over Goulburn with Wonderstruck Ballooning Pty Ltd

Our pilot Alan, from Tidy Yards Enterprises here in Goulburn, gave us an incredible morning and a pretty spectacular view of our hometown.

Definitely not our usual Saturday cardio… but we’ll take it! 😂

Today Tristyn had the opportunity to present to third-year Physiotherapy students at the University of Canberra, talking all things private practice and professionalism.

Tristyn shared what students can expect from a private practice placement — from professional standards and communication to making the most of the experience and getting involved in clinic life.

It was great to meet such an engaged group of future physios and catch up with the UC clinical education and placement team. These opportunities are always about more than just presenting — the conversations, connections and ongoing relationship with the University are incredibly valuable to us.

We always love our time at UC and playing a small part in supporting the next generation of physiotherapists. 🙌

Sunday morning on the mountain ⛰️🏃‍♂️

15.75km done with the LMU committee as Tristyn continues training for the Lonely Mountain Ultra 100km.

Such a wonderful group of people, giving their time and giving us the opportunity to get out there and train on the mountain ahead of race day. We’re so grateful to be part of it.

519m of elevation today… only another 84km or so to go on race day, Tristyn 😅
