Around 70% of our plants are propagated right here on site with the help of our amazing Supported Employees. 🌿

From propagation and potting to watering, weeding and nurturing each plant as it grows, our workers play an important part every step of the way.

When you purchase a plant from Growing Abilities Goulburn, you’re doing more than adding something beautiful to your garden you’re helping provide meaningful, ongoing supported employment and opportunities for people with disability in our community. ❤️

Sometimes the best part of the day comes with tiny little feathers! 🐥💛

Today we had two very special visitors at Growing Abilities – Rumi and Brodie, two adorable baby chickens who stole everyone’s hearts.

There were plenty of smiles, gentle cuddles, and lots of excitement as participants had the chance to meet our fluffy little guests. Visits like these create wonderful moments, spark conversations, and bring so much joy to our day.

Thanks for visiting us, Rumi and Brodie – we can’t wait to see you again! 🐣💚

🎉 We’re incredibly excited to share some wonderful news! 🎉

Growing Abilities Goulburn has officially been named a Finalist in the Excellence in Medium Business category at the 2026 South East NSW Business Awards! 🌟

This recognition means so much to us. It reflects the hard work, passion and dedication of our amazing team, the determination of our participants, and the ongoing support we receive from our families, customers, volunteers, local businesses and the wider Goulburn community.

Every plant we’ve grown, every lawn we’ve maintained, every job we’ve completed and every opportunity we’ve created has been made possible because of the people who believe in what we do.

To our staff and participants, thank you for showing every day that inclusion, opportunity and meaningful employment can make a real difference.

Congratulations to all of the other finalists. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at the Gala Awards and are honoured to be recognised alongside so many outstanding businesses across the region.

🎄✨ Christmas came early at Growing Abilities! ✨🎄

Today we celebrated Christmas in July, and what a fantastic day it was! ❤️

Our participants and staff enjoyed a day filled with festive fun, laughter, great company, delicious food, and plenty of Christmas cheer. It was wonderful to see everyone getting into the spirit, sharing smiles, and creating memories together.

Days like today remind us that it’s not about the date on the calendar it’s about bringing people together, building friendships, and celebrating our amazing Growing Abilities community.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make today so special. We can’t wait to do it all again in December! 🎅🎁🎄

It’s moments like these that remind us just how lucky we are to be part of such a supportive community. 💚

A massive thank you to Bunnings for their generous donation of security cameras to Growing Abilities.

As a not-for-profit organisation, every donation we receive makes a real difference. Your kindness will help us create an even safer environment for our participants, supported employees, staff and everyone who visits our site.

This week, our team had the pleasure of helping out at Goulburn North Public School with a landscaping job, giving the Bush Tucker Garden we created together last year a little refresh. 🌿

Our supported employees enjoyed tidying up the garden and installing some new stepping stones to help make the space even more welcoming for students to explore and enjoy.

We love opportunities like this that allow our team to build skills, give back to the community, and be part of projects that make a lasting difference.

Thank you to Goulburn North Public School for inviting us back we’re proud to continue supporting such a fantastic space and can’t wait to see it continue to grow!
