This Saturday I’ll be holding a Qigong practice at the Wooli River Mouth to celebrate World Health Qigong Day.

Saturday 12 September
10:00am – 11:15am
Wooli River Mouth
By donation – all funds go towards Nepal Emergency Aid.

The practice is being held in collaboration with Himalayan Guiding Australia to help raise funds for those affected by the recent floods in Nepal.

I’ve been travelling to Nepal for over 30 years, and it feels really important to me to give something back to a country and community that has given me so much over the years.

If you haven’t had the chance to try Qigong before, this is a great opportunity to come along, connect with nature and experience the practice.

After the practice we’ll be heading to for a coffee. The 383 is kindly assisting with the fundraiser.

If you can’t make the Qigong practice, we’d still love to see you at The 383 afterwards. Come along, have a coffee, connect and help us raise funds for Nepal.

Everyone is welcome.

Recover. Restore. Replenish.

One of my favourite Qigong practices is Holding the Moon.

Just as the moon influences the tides, the Water Element reminds us of the importance of slowing down, restoring our energy and returning to a place of inner stillness. In Qigong, the moon symbolises calmness, reflection and renewal—qualities that are especially important during winter.

Join me this week as we explore Water Element Qigong, a gentle practice designed to help you:

• Recover from the demands of daily life
• Restore your nervous system
• Replenish your energy
• Deepen your breath
• Cultivate calm, resilience and inner stillness

5 Seed Qigong – Winter Water Element Practice

Join us for an evening of movement, breath, and stillness as we align with the wisdom of the Water Element in winter.

The Water Element teaches us the importance of slowing down, conserving energy, and reconnecting with our inner reserves. Through gentle Qigong movements, breathwork, and meditation, we will cultivate rest, restoration, resilience, nervous system regulation, immune support over winter, and greater vitality.

Friday 3rd July
5:30pm – 7:00pm
The Retreat of Life, James Creek

As nature turns inward during winter, this is an opportunity to do the same—nourishing body, mind, and spirit while harnessing the healing qualities of the Water Element. By supporting the body's energy reserves during the colder months, this practice can help strengthen resilience and overall wellbeing throughout winter.

Beginners welcome.

Bookings via ashararetreats.com or reserve your place by messaging me directly. Places are limited and booking is essential.

This gentle yet powerful session will include breathwork, flowing Qigong movements, meditation, and energy cultivation practices suitable for all levels.
