EXPRESSION OF INTEREST | Beginner Crochet Classes ✨
Hello everyone,
For those who don't know me, my name is Chinta, and I'm a fibre artist, crochet designer and educator.🧶
I've been crocheting for over 20 years and, for the past six years, I've had the privilege of teaching crochet workshops throughout Australia and overseas. I'm also a qualified designer and pattern maker, with patterns published by companies here in Australia and internationally.
There's something special about slowing down, taking time to create with your own two hands and giving yourself permission to simply make. (This is one of the things I love most about crochet.)
I'd love to offer beginner crochet classes locally again, and this is an invitation to see what the community would enjoy and what people are looking for.
I'm currently considering two class options:
🧶 4 Week Beginner Crochet Workshop
One 4-hour class each week for four weeks.
Designed for complete beginners, we'll cover all of the crochet fundamentals while building confidence, learning how to read crochet patterns and creating beautiful handmade projects together.
Everything is included. You'll receive a beginner's kit, workbook and all the tools and materials you'll need throughout the course, so you can simply turn up and enjoy learning.
🧶 One-Off Granny Square Workshop
A relaxed 4-hour workshop where you'll learn to crochet the classic granny square from start to finish.
Perfect if you'd like to try crochet without committing to a full course.
Your crochet hook, yarn, workbook and all class materials are included, so you can simply come along and enjoy a few hours of making.
I'm currently considering both weekday evening and weekend daytime sessions.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, or if there's another crochet class you'd love to see offered, I'd genuinely love to hear from you in the comments below. Your feedback will help shape these workshops and give me a better understanding of what our community is looking for.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I can't wait to hear your thoughts!
With love,
xo Chinta
