You’ve earned this chapter. This is what comes next.
Aging well isn’t something you achieve. It’s something you practice, the way you practice anything that keeps revealing new layers the longer you stay with it. The Vibrant Pathway is a program built around that idea. You’ll look at how you move, how you rest, how you nourish yourself, and the stories you’ve been telling yourself about what this chapter is supposed to look like.
The Vibrant Pathway is for you if:
> You’re ready to embrace the wisdom you’ve earned and put it to good use
> You’re overwhelmed by the conflicting versions of aging well you see on social media
> You want a deeper connection and intimacy with yourself and the people you love
> You want to practise ageing on your own terms
> You want more than just another book that winds up on the shelf
The Vibrant Pathway is delivered in 6 modules over 6 months.
Each month you work through one module in your own time, and then we come together in person at SoHo Yoga toward the end of the month to move, discuss, and integrate. You’ll also have WhatsApp access to Julie and the group between sessions, as well as lifetime access to all six modules.
This is not another menopause gathering. It’s six months of inspiration, connection, and clarity for women who want to navigate the second half of life with more ease and more joy.

As the weather gets cooler and the days grow shorter it is an invitation to slow down and turn inwards. It is the season when nature becomes quiet and still and takes time out to replenish and renew.

Despite all the industrial and technological advancements that keep us warm in winter and artificially extend our waking hours, humans are still naturally inclined towards restoration during the cooler months.

Our fortnightly Relax & Restore on Friday evenings in our cosy Grange studio becomes a restorative retreat incorporating Indian Head Massage with Alexandra BodyWise Therapist and Yoga. Bliss not to be missed.

According to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) upon which Yin yoga is based, winter is associated with the water element and the Kidney and Urinary Bladder meridian pair.

Water has the energetic quality of sinking, and the Kidneys control vitality. Winter is not a time for pushing and expending energy, but a time for sinking into stillness and conserving and replenishing energy.

This 40 minute sequence focuses on backbends and forward folds targeting the Kidney and Urinary Bladder meridian lines to restore and renew vital energy.

✨ Introducing 'The Vibrant Pathway' with ✨

I've been wanting to bring something really special to the SoHo community for a while, and I think this is it.

Many of you know Julie Smerdon from her Saturday morning classes here at SoHo. What you might not know is that Julie has spent decades working with women of all ages, and has channelled that into a program specifically for women in the second half of life.

It's called The Vibrant Pathway. And before you read another word - this is not another menopause gathering. It's six months of inspiration, connection, and clarity for women who want to navigate the second half of life with more ease and more joy.

Well into the second half herself, Julie's passion these days is helping women claim this era as a time of potency, vitality, and earned wisdom.

Here's exactly what you get:

• Six in-person sessions at SoHo Yoga, one per month from July through December - each one combining movement and discussion led by Julie
• A structured six-module program to work through in your own time each month, so you arrive at each session ready to go deeper
• WhatsApp access to Julie between sessions - real support, not a chatbot
• Lifetime access to all six modules, so the work stays with you long after December

The dates:

If life gets in the way and you miss a session or two, no problem. You’ll be able to stay up to date in the WhatsApp group.

The days are getting shorter and the weather is getting cooler, which we all know makes it that teeny bit harder to get motivated to practice. SO our annual scheme to get you out of the house and onto the mat regularly during winter is back!

🧘🏻‍♀️ How does it work?
You can start your challenge any day in June. The goal is to attend 30 yoga classes in 30 consecutive days. Your daily practice can adapt to your differing needs and routine, incorporating energising flows to wake up and warm up the body, and nurturing Yin or Restorative practices for extra winter nourishment. Don’t worry if you miss a day, you can make up a class by attending 2 classes on another day. But in order to successfully complete the challenge and qualify for 2 weeks FREE yoga you must attend a total of 30 classes in a 30-day period.

🙏 What’s my reward?
Apart from feeling O M A Z I N G after 30 consecutive days of yoga we will reward anyone who successfully completes the challenge with 2 weeks yoga completely FREE. If you are already a direct debit member we will simply adjust your next fortnightly payment due to $0. And if you purchased the 30-day challenge pass (see below) or another unlimited pass we will credit your account with an additional 2 weeks unlimited yoga pass for FREE. Alternatively you can opt to ‘Pay It Forward’ to a friend, family member or we can nominate a student in need.

🧘🏼‍♂️ How do I claim my reward?
Simply email us on completion of the challenge so we can verify your attendance and we will confirm your reward has been allocated to your chosen account. You can track your own progress in your MOMENCE account either on the website or download the SoHo Yoga Bne App.

A big happy birthday today to our wonderful Kerrie! 🥰🎂

For nearly a decade Kerrie has been part of the SoHo community since joining as a student in October 2016, completing her 200Hr teacher training with us in 2020, and now serving as a long-term, experienced teacher.

If you're not already familiar with Kerrie, you can Rise & Shine with her Tuesdays at 7am and alternate Mondays at 6am & 7.30am. In the meantime please join us in wishing Kerrie a very happy birthday today (Wednesday)! 🎉
