We are delighted to announce that Dr Bawden has successfully completed all requirements for Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), marking an important milestone in her medical career.

Fellowship is recognised as the benchmark for excellence in Australian general practice and reflects a doctor's commitment to delivering high quality, evidence based patient care.
Throughout her training Dr Bawden has demonstrated exceptional dedication to her patients and the wider community. Her achievement reflects not only her extensive medical knowledge and clinical skills but also her compassionate approach to patient care.

The journey to Fellowship requires significant commitment including years of dedicated training, ongoing assessments and successful completion of national examinations. Achieving Fellowship signifies that a doctor has met the high standards required to practice independently as a specialist general practitioner in Australia.

The entire team would like to congratulate Dr Bawden on this outstanding accomplishment. We are incredibly proud of her hard work and dedication and look forward to continuing to support our patients with the expert care she provides.

"Bowel cancer is Australia's second deadliest cancer, claiming 103 lives every week.

Your Health Griffith is excited to be offering the free respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine under the National Immunisation Program for eligible patients from the 15th May 2026. 💉

Eligibility for the funded RSV vaccine include:
➡️Patients aged 75 years and over.
➡️Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients aged 60 years and over.
➡️Pregnant women 28-36 weeks (already available).

RSV can cause severe respiratory illness, hospitalisation and death in older people, particularly those with underlying conditions or living in aged care.
