Sometimes you need to stop and notice the life you’re actually living. 💛
Today was one of those days.
It started with coffee with another mum, talking about our daughters, friendships and how we can best support them through all the things that come with growing up.
And I had this little moment of realisation.
When you’re deep in a fertility experience, you think so much about having the baby. You don’t necessarily think about the ordinary moments that may come years later. The school days. The friendships. The challenges. The conversations over coffee about how to be the best mum you can be. Including navigating screen time.
Then it was into the AFS Networking Space, connecting with brilliant professionals, learning more about AI and business growth, sharing ideas and continuing to build relationships across the fertility industry. Thank you to everybody that joined and a huge thank you to Nicole Rowan.
And I finished the day recording a podcast conversation with Dr Tash about LGBTQIA+ fertility care and Rainbow Fertility, and the importance of making fertility treatment and support more inclusive for every person and every pathway to family.
Mum. Fertility coach. Connector. Podcaster. Business owner. Friend. Learner.
So many different conversations and people in one day.
And tonight, I’m simply feeling grateful.
Grateful for the people I meet. Grateful for the work I get to do. Grateful for the conversations that matter. And especially grateful for those beautifully ordinary moments that I once couldn’t have known would become part of my life.
Thank you, life. What an amazing day. 💛
