GROUNDED THROUGH WINTER - WEEK 4
This week, our theme is Digestion & Energy.
Over the past few weeks we’ve explored grounding, creating warmth, and nourishing the nervous system. Now we begin to support Agni (our digestive fire) and the energy that sustains us each day.
In Ayurveda, digestion is about much more than the food we eat. It’s also our ability to process experiences, adapt to change, and create sustainable energy for daily life.
During winter, many people notice feeling heavier, slower or less energised. This week’s practices are designed to gently support circulation, mobility, breath and the body’s natural capacity to create warmth and vitality.
Through mindful movement, responsive core activation, twists, spinal mobility and breath awareness, we’ll explore how movement can help us feel more awake, balanced and connected.
Rather than chasing energy, we’ll focus on creating the conditions that allow it emerge naturally.
This week’s invitation:
Choose one meal each day to eat a little more slowly. Notice the flavours, textures and aromas, and give yourself a few moments to pause before rushing on to the next thing.
Energy isn’t just about how much we do. It’s also about how well we digest, absorb and utilise what nourishes us. Sometimes nourishment begins with being selective about what we allow in through all of our senses.
“When digestion is strong, vitality follows.” - Ayurvedic wisdom
We look forward to sharing the week with you 💗
