At Bethsalem Care, learning doesn't stop when a qualification is earned - it continues every day through education, experience and a commitment to providing the very best care.
Last week, we welcomed the second group of Personal Care Workers to our Foundations of PCW Care Practice education day as part of Bethsalem Academy. Throughout the day, participants took part in practical workshops covering everything from pressure care, infection prevention and documentation to nutrition, continence management, housekeeping and safe mealtime practices.
A huge thank you to our guest presenters and Bethsalem team members who generously shared their knowledge and expertise. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, thoughtful discussion and a genuine passion for learning from everyone involved.
This is just the beginning of the journey. Over the next six months, participants will complete a series of practical competency assessments through our new Forget Me Not Learning Management System, further strengthening the skills and confidence that support safe, person-centred and compassionate care for our residents.
Congratulations to Dipesh and Chloe, who took home our door prizes, and thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. We look forward to seeing this learning continue to make a difference in the lives of our residents every day. đź’™
