Good morning everyone, I’m so looking forward to another day of mindful moments captured and shared right here this page. 🌱

Thanks to all who voted for the winter calendar votes. 🥰

This week’s invitation.

🌿 Share one photo that says “SPRING” to you.

It could be frost, fungi, rain, a bird, a favourite tree, a sunrise, your morning walk, or just a little moment that made you stop and notice. There are no right or wrong photos here. Just little moments of connection with the Earth.

A couple of things.

🌱 One photo only please.

🌱 Landscape photos work best as they fit well on the page cover.

🌱 Pop it in the comments before 6pm (Sydney time).

The photo with the most love from our community will become our cover photo for the week. ❤️

At the end of Spring, all our weekly winners will go into a community vote, and the favourites will find a place in the 2027 Destination Sacred Grounds calendar. 🤩

As always, everyone with a winning seasonal photo receives a complimentary, (limit pp) and if you’ve shared a photo before that never made it to the cover, please share it again! There are so many beautiful photos that deserve another chance. ♥️

A big thank you to Jeanette Horner
for the amazing historical capture last week. ✨

This week‘s photo was taken on Biripi Country.

I can’t wait to see what you’ve noticed this week.🍃

Woohoo! We have our Winter photos, Earth lovers, and the winners of the 2027 Destination Sacred Grounds Earth-Based Challenge Calendar Giveaway! 🌍🍂

You voted, and the results are in! 🥁

I’m stoked to reveal that the following amazing photographers (which was such a close round) will have their 3 stunning Earth-based Winter shots featured in the 2027 Destination Sacred Grounds calendar.

These guys will each receive their complimentary calendar, arriving just before the New Year to kick off 2027 in grounded beauty! 📅🌿

🍂 Featured Photographers:

• Chloe Norris
• Trevor Horner
• debra Wedmaier

Congratulations! 🎉 Your captures really honour the spirit of the Earth, and I’m beyond grateful to feature them. I’ll be sending you a message soon! 💚

🌀 A little note on how the voting was worked out…

Because we’ve had some very close ties in previous rounds, I wanted to make sure the voting was as fair and transparent as possible.

The reactions weren’t all counted equally because they represent different levels of “YES, I WANT THIS IN THE CALENDAR!” 😂

👍 Like = 1 point
❤️ Love = 2 points
😮 Wow/Shock = 3 points
💬 Comments = an added bonus

So when photos were close, I used the reaction points to determine the final placing rather than simply counting the number of reactions.

Just keeping the calendar gods honest! 😂🌿

🌱 And to everyone who shared the Earth-Based love…

Thank you for sharing your beautiful Earth-inspired photos and for supporting the challenge with your likes, comments and positive vibes.

Our community is what makes this space sacred each week, and I’m so grateful for every one of you. Your passion, creativity and love for this beautiful Earth continue to uplift this Earth-centred journey. 🍀🌍

Thank you all for celebrating the Earth and each other.

I appreciate you all! 🤩🌀🙏🏻

Returning to rhythm

I’ve been sitting with this thought lately.

What does it mean to be a woman within an ecology?

We often look inward to understand ourselves. Our thoughts, our feelings, our stories, our bodies and all the things that make up our inner world.

But there is another ecology around us too.

The seasons.
The cycles.
The plants.
The light and darkness.
The people and places we live amongst.

And I keep wondering what happens when we stop seeing these as separate.

What happens when we begin listening to both?

Returning to Rhythm 🌱

I’ve been feeling the stirring of spring for a little while now. Something has been quietly shifting behind the scenes, like a seed deep in the undergrowth preparing to sprout.

I’ve shared a few little bird moments here lately because they’ve become such a noticeable part of my days. From the moment I wake, I can feel this new aliveness in the outer ecology.

The birds are singing, the sun is rising, the air is warming and orange has become the colour I relate with new beginnings. A new day, a new season, like the Maiden, curious about what’s next.

And I can feel that stirring in my inner ecology too. There’s something in me that wants to move, explore, play, create and see what might emerge. My body feels attuned to the changing season, and I’m reminded of something I’ve been learning over the past couple of years.

We don’t actually have to get out into nature to connect with it.

We are nature. 🌿
