* Ex-service accommodation and support services for veterans/widows.
* The V Centre (coming in 2023): a residential program for veterans experiencing homelessness, marginal homelessness or struggling to find their way after leaving the services. Fathers Day fun at Vasey RSL Care Brighton East: A Father’s Day concert with entertainment by the dynamic Karen and Peter as well as Friday arvo snacks aplenty. Heartfelt thanks to Gunn & McConville for the lovely hamper items. Congratulations to winners Barry S, Slava, Miles and Ken. Residents at Vasey RSL Care Frankston South celebrated Father's Day with a live music concert & happy hour on Friday afternoon. Many residents were singing, tapping & clapping, dancing, enjoying a drink, hot food & a delicious cake from our kitchen. Along with festive decorations, special hand-made Father's Day gift packs & door prizes for the male guests to acknowledge & show our appreciation for a very special day on Sunday.

The RSL Women’s Council Victoria recently agreed at its AGM to support the V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program with a donation of $5,250.

Vasey RSL Care CEO Janna Voloshin said: “We are extremely grateful for the support of the Women’s Council and the broader Women’s Auxiliary. This generous donation will help purchase essential items for veterans moving into the Veteran Empowerment Program, assisting them as they begin the next chapter of their lives.”

Program Manager Karen Rowlinson added “The donation will directly assist veterans transitioning into safe, supported accommodation at the V Centre."

Thank you to State President Cheryl Congram, Vice President Heather Triffitt and assistant secretary Leoni Hutcheson for taking the time to visit the V Centre.

⛳ Sunshine, fairways, and a fantastic cause! Team Vasey RSL Care had a wonderful time at the annual Mornington Legacy Golf Day at Devilbend Golf Club in support of Legacy Week.

The day started with a delicious egg and bacon roll breakfast, followed by a moving reading of the Ode before golfers from local RSLs, ex-service organisations, and sponsors took to the course. With glorious weather, great golf, and lunch at the clubhouse to cap off the afternoon, it was a fantastic celebration of community and camaraderie.

A huge thank you to Mornington Legacy President Chuck Connors for presenting the trophies, and to everyone who helped make the day such a success!

A huge thank you to the Ringwood RSL Women’s Auxiliary for their generous donation to the Veteran Empowerment Program!

For the third year running, the Women’s Auxiliary has shown incredible support for our work at the V Centre. This donation directly funds essential care packages including fresh towels, doonas, pillows, toiletries, and food hampers for veterans moving into the V Centre. Having clean sheets and a warm meal ready allows our veterans to take a deep breath, gather their thoughts, and settle into their new space without extra stress.

We are so grateful for your ongoing support!
