🌿Prospect Hill Weekly Wrap Up 🌿

Jack had some furry visitors this week… but we’re still trying to figure out one very important question — was that a lion hanging from its tail on the clothesline? 🦁😂

The two gentlemen of leisure enjoyed a well-earned coffee catch-up at the North Shore Tavern ☕, while the gang got together to enjoy a delicious dinner and some great company. 🍽️

John was all smiles after his carer lovingly prepared him a kangaroo stew — and judging by the thumbs up, it was definitely a winner! 👏🦘

Because who doesn’t love a good pub feed… and then the perfect finishing touch — a cheeky Macca’s ice cream! 🍦 Jacko certainly knows how to end a meal on a high note!

Nathan’s veggie garden is coming along beautifully 🌱, and speaking of gardens, Guy was absolutely in his element getting his hands dirty and enjoying some outdoor time.

The boys from Bayswater were on grocery duty this week and were more than happy to help put everything away… naturally, we had to have a sneaky peek at what snackies made the shopping list! 👀🍪

Aime was busy in the kitchen whipping up a cracker of a dinner — chicken schnitzel and potato bake. We’re just wondering… what time should we all arrive for dinner? 🤤

Nathan headed out to check out a glider at Stockton, Alan made sure he stayed hydrated with a refreshing cordial, and everyone continued making the most of their week.

From gardening and cooking to coffee dates, outings and a few delicious treats — it’s the little moments that make the biggest memories. 💙

Another fantastic week full of smiles, independence and plenty of good times! 😊

🌿Prospect Hill Weekly Wrap Up 🌿

There have been plenty of smiles, adventures and special moments shared across our homes this week.

Dave had a wonderful day enjoying a walk along the river before treating himself to a delicious hamburger for lunch, and even picked up a new comic on the way home. Bobby enjoyed catching up on the previous night's NRL action with one of our new support workers, while Sakura made the most of the beautiful weather with walks, a visit to the park, spotting some sheep along the way, and of course, a ride down the slide!

We also had a very special celebration this week as Aimie celebrated her birthday. Glynis helped make pancakes for breakfast before everyone headed out for a delicious pub dinner with the Thornton ladies. It certainly looked like a birthday filled with lots of laughter and great company.

Our participants have also been busy showing off their cooking skills. The Bayswater boys cooked up a storm, with John baking a delicious brownie (including a cheeky lick of the spoon!) while Matt created a beautiful pavlova. Tom got creative at Life Skills and built an impressive model car, while Alan and Thom enjoyed spending time together completing a puzzle. Julie had fun playing Connect 4, Dennis spent time watching his favourite mini car racing videos, and we're fairly certain Glynis has confirmed her title as Prospect Hill's biggest banana bread fan! 🍌

Nathan packed a lot into one day, checking out trucks, ride-on mowers, excavators and caravans before finishing off the adventure with some well-earned chicken and chips for lunch. Meanwhile, Sue, Megan and Steve are continuing to settle into their new home, with Megan happily posing for a few photos. Michala and Georgia also enjoyed getting out for a lovely walk together.

It's moments like these that remind us how important it is to support people to enjoy the things they love, try new experiences and create meaningful connections every day. A huge thank you to our incredible support workers who make these moments possible. We can't wait to see what next week brings! 🌿

🌿Weekly Wrap-Up 🌿

Another fantastic week across Prospect Hill, with plenty of smiles, outings and great moments to share!

Matt and John enjoyed a relaxing Sunday, while Thom got stuck into his puzzle!

Julie has been embracing her creative side, spending time working on a beautiful mosaic project. She's also been busy getting her daily calendar organised and up and running, helping keep her days structured and enjoyable.

With the cooler weather settling in, Alan has been making the most of it by staying warm and cosy, rugged up in bed.

Bobby has certainly kept himself busy this week! He made the most of the sunshine by washing the bus while working on his tan. The weather must have changed quickly though, because the very next day he was wrapped up in his flanno trying to stay warm!

Georgia had a wonderful day out, stopping by the library to pick up some new books (Where's Sulav? 🤣), enjoying a game of putt putt, and even making a quick stop at what looked suspiciously like the Simpsons' house on the way home!

Not to be outdone by Bobby, John also took advantage of the beautiful Townsville sunshine, soaking up some rays and working on his tan!

The fun didn't stop there, with John and Chris getting into the party spirit, donning their party shirts and having an absolute ball at the Kith and Kin Party. 🎉

Glynnis enjoyed one of life's simple pleasures this week, treating herself to a delicious slice of banana bread with a coffee.

A huge congratulations goes to Nathan, who proudly received his special bowling award. His dedication and hard work throughout the year continue to shine, and everyone is incredibly proud of his achievement. 🎳👏

Do you know who loves Zarraffa's??? Guy does!! After getting stuck into some early morning weeding, braving what looked like a very chilly start to the day - he rewarded himself with a croissant and a coffee!!

Meanwhile, Jack also embraced the crisp morning, taking a long walk along the waterfront before rewarding himself with a well-earned pie and milkshake.

It's always wonderful to see everyone staying active, getting involved in the community, and enjoying the things they love.

We can't wait to see what next week brings! 🌿🌿

💙🧡 Why choose Prospect Hill? 🧡💙

At Prospect Hill, we believe support is about so much more than just providing care — it’s about building relationships, creating opportunities and being part of the moments that make life meaningful.

As an NDIS Registered Provider, we are committed to delivering safe, quality and person-centred supports that empower participants to live life their way.

Recently, our amazing team had the opportunity to support participants to enjoy Disney On Ice — a wonderful reminder of what we love most about what we do. ✨

It’s the laughter, the shared experiences, the confidence to try something new, and the memories created along the way that truly make a difference.

For us, it’s about:
🏡 Creating homes that feel welcoming and safe
🤝 Building genuine connections and trust
🌱 Supporting independence and personal goals
🌈 Helping participants be involved in their community and enjoy the things they love

Every person has their own story, their own goals and their own dreams — and we are proud to walk alongside them on their journey.

At Prospect Hill, we believe everyone deserves to be in the best place — physically, psychologically and socially. 💙

🌿 Prospect Hill Weekly Wrap-Up 🌿

What a fantastic week it's been across Prospect Hill! Our participants have been out and about in the community, developing their independence, enjoying time with friends, and creating wonderful memories.

Steve put his independent living skills into action with a trip to Woolworths, confidently shopping for his groceries and using the self-service checkout before treating himself to a well-earned milkshake.

Glyniss enjoyed one of her favourite outings with coffee and cake at McDonald's before heading to Green Hills, where she had the lovely surprise of bumping into Georgia. At home, she even let Sharna share the lounge, while Aimee was more than happy relaxing in her favourite recliner.

Sakura is all set for Disney on Ice after getting her hair done and looking fabulous for the big event.

Jacko enjoyed a delicious hamburger from the local pub, while Nathan whipped up a tasty batch of banana pancakes and thoroughly enjoyed the fruits of his labour.
Erin embraced her creative side by painting a self-portrait on canvas, while Terri was in her element exploring the Maitland Markets.

Julie has had a busy week in the kitchen, cooking up a variety of delicious meals, and Marion has been enjoying some quiet time with her favourite puzzles.
Jack and Jaydon certainly earned their lunch after a busy morning playing footy, finishing off their outing with some tasty hotdogs.

Another week full of laughter, learning, friendships, community connections and achieving goals. We love seeing everyone enjoying life, building confidence and making the most of every opportunity.
