outing to "living legends" on friday... we finally got there! Marty, Diedre and all were very impressed :) Thanks to Judy and all the staff there... there was much racing royalty there who were happy to rub shoulders with us for carrots! 😊🐎🥕🥕

A couple of weeks ago we introduced our 12 new djembes to the music group folks 😀🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘
Many thanks to the Banyule City Council for a generous equipment grant for these beautiful instruments, and to Simon at Melbourne Djembe (https://www.melbournedjembe.com.au/) for advice as to what combination of djembes would best suit our group, and for then making them for us! 😀 They sound awesome!

Highly recommend exploring their website and watching the fascinating video there where Simon shows the process of making them. There's also lessons you can purchase and upload, and weekly groups you can attend (for beginners also, with djembes supplied). Highly recommend them 🙂🪘🪇
