Dear you,
I want you to know you're not alone in this. Struggling with mental health can be like navigating a storm, it’s tough, unpredictable, and can feel incredibly isolating. But even in the darkest moments, there’s hope, and you’re not alone in this journey. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, to struggle to get out of bed, or to feel like you’re carrying a weight that’s too heavy. It’s okay to admit you need help, and it’s okay to ask for it. These are signs of strength, not weakness.
You matter. Your feelings are valid, and your experiences are real. Don’t let anyone or anything make you feel otherwise. Take things one small step at a time. Focus on what you can do today, not what you think you should be able to do. Every tiny step forward is progress, and you’re doing more than you think. You’re doing the best you can with what you have, and that’s something to be proud of. Try and surround yourself with people who lift you up, and don’t be afraid to lean on them when you need to. And when it feels like it’s all too much, remember: YOU have made it through many tough days and this tough day shall pass too. Brighter days are ahead, even if they feel out of reach right now.
Please remember, you don’t have to carry this alone, there is help available...reach out to a friend, a loved one, just anybody. You got this and you are loved, you are unique and you sure as hell belong here.
So hold on today as tomorrow is another day and that day may be the light that we are all waiting for.
Sending you all my love, support, and a reminder that you’re seen, you’re heard, and you’re valued.
Much love and positive thoughts,
Steve.
