Who has the best baking skills? There's only one way to find out!

Join us for a fun-filled Cooking Day Bake Off where participants will split into two teams and go head-to-head in a friendly kitchen challenge.

From mixing and measuring to decorating and presenting, each team will work together to create their delicious masterpiece before our judges decide who takes home bragging rights!

💜 Introducing Denise from Bay Spiritual Healing 💜

At Empowering You DisabilityServices, we are passionate about connecting our participants with services and supports that promote wellbeing, personal growth and meaningful outcomes.

We are excited to introduce Denise from Bay Spiritual Healing, a qualified Holistic Counsellor (Dip Prof Couns MACA) and Art Therapist, who offers a unique and creative approach to emotional wellbeing and self-discovery.

🌿 What is Holistic Counselling?
Holistic counselling looks at the whole person – mind, body, emotions and spirit. It provides a safe and supportive space to explore life's challenges, build resilience, develop coping strategies and work towards personal goals.

🎨 What is Art Therapy?
Art Therapy uses creative expression as a tool for communication, self-exploration and healing. No artistic ability is required! Through drawing, painting, collage, journalling and other creative activities, participants can explore emotions, build confidence and express thoughts that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.

Denise can support individuals with:

🍔🌴 TROPICAL CHICKEN BURGERS & WARM FRUIT CRUMBLE 🌴🍔

Get ready for a delicious tropical-inspired cooking class that's packed with flavour, fun and friendship! ☀️🍍

Join us on Wednesday 17th June as we create juicy Tropical Chicken Burgers loaded with tasty toppings and fresh tropical flavours. Then we'll finish things off with a comforting serving of Warm Fruit Crumble and Custard for dessert. 🥧🍮

Our cooking classes are about so much more than food. Participants have the opportunity to build confidence in the kitchen, develop independent living skills, practise teamwork, make new friends and enjoy a fun and supportive environment.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming 5 fantastic new Support Workers to the Empowering You Disability Services team as they completed their orientation.

Starting a new role is always exciting, and we're thrilled to have these amazing individuals join us.

Our orientation day is all about introducing new team members to who we are, what we stand for, and the high-quality, person-centred supports we are committed to delivering every single day.

From understanding our values and compliance requirements to learning about our participants and services, today was the first step in what we hope will be a rewarding journey with EYDS.

We are continually growing, and it's wonderful to see so many passionate people choosing to make a difference in the lives of others.
