Our Men’s Shed offers a friendly, healthy environment for veterans and community members to reconnect and improve their mental health. Membership is FREE.

We provide various activities, including woodworking, leatherwork and photography.

The Shed was beaten to on the Post of our official opening, A weekend open day will becoming on a weekend in the coming months with a sausage sizzle and open stalls.Stay Tuned

As we get closer to our official opening, we are still taking new members to our shed. What do we offer to our members we currently run Woodwork, leather work and photography.
Reasons to give this shed a try, No Membership fees so nothing to lose, no visitation fees, just friendship and something to do just to get out of the house and learn new skills.

The Men's Shed received the last of our tools purchased with the major support of three LCC Councillors, being Cr Tim Frazer, Cr Teresa Lane and Cr Natalie Willcocks, without support the Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch would not be able to keep our shed fully funded and free to all members of the community.
If any businesses would like to support the Shed please contact the Men's Shed on 2115 7301. We are hoping to put all our sponsors up on the glass panelling in the near future.

On behalf of the Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch Men's Shed, we want to extend a big thank you to the Logan City Council, especially Cr Tim Frazer, Cr Teresa Lane and Cr Natalie Willcocks, for assisting us with applying for a small grant to replace some of our outdated tools for the new shed.
This shed serves as a vital resource for not only our esteemed Veterans but also for the entire Logan Community. Your generous support truly makes a significant difference in our mission.
At our Shed, we focus on fostering community connections and inclusion.
We take great pride in providing ongoing support through a variety of hands-on activities, including woodworking, leatherworking, and photography. These programs are designed to empower individuals, boost skills, and create meaningful relationships within our community.
We are grateful to the Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch for their unwavering financial support, which allows us to continue offering these valuable resources and initiatives. Together, we are building a stronger community, one project at a time. Your involvement is invaluable, and we appreciate every effort to help us achieve our goals.

On Monday it was a great honour to walk Cr Natalie Willcocks Division 11 Logan City Council through our new Men's Shed. I would also like to thank Cr Tim Frazer Division 7, who has been amazing with his support in our Council issues along the way with the build and Teresa Lane Division 2 Logan City Council.
The support from these LCC Councillors has provided ongoing assistance in their own ways with several concern or issues.
I can only hope that when members and visitors come to this totally free Shed that they remember the support we have had from the members.
Finally I also need to thank our local Federal Member Hon Jim Chalmers and State Member Leanne Enoch.

Please this is not a political post but a heartfelt thankyou for members who have not only looked after the veterans but also members of our community.

This week's progress has finally seen the Men's Shed and Ozski Canvas who is moving into Unit 4 get 3 Phase electricity to our Men's Shed. What does this mean for the non-electrical minded people.
WELL OUR ROLLER DOORS NOW OPEN WITH A SWITCH AND NOT A CHAIN but BEST OF ALL WE CAN NOW USE ALL THE 3 PHASE EQUIPMENT.
The Men's Shed Adminstrators the Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch Board has also reported something very cool is coming Tuesday.

Well it has been awhile between posts due to family reasons but we are back and let the posts start again.

Well since the move we have all machinery in place and the building is just finalising Certification.

Now is the time we get excited and start having fun, as they say let the builds begin.

Sunday was a significant day for the Greenbank RSL Men’s Shed as we packed up the old shed and relocated all our tools and machinery to our new 450sqm space at 13 Corporate Place in Hillcrest.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the community for their incredible support. There are so many amazing people to thank, but I must give a special shoutout to the Logan City Community Cadets, along with their dedicated staff and parents—they truly provided the largest workforce! The Cadets brought so much youthful energy and enthusiasm that they definitely kept the older members of our team on our toes.

On behalf of all the members of the shed and the Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch, thank you all so much.

And Shanksy, we need to talk about those photos—every time you were leaning on something, did you lift a single thing?
