In my Kinesiology sessions, I love working with acupressure points. Each point in the body can influence us in unique physical, emotional, neurological and energetic ways.
At the beginning of a session, I gently rub several acupressure points and ask whether any feel tender. Tenderness can sometimes indicate stagnant Qi (energy) within that meridian, helping to guide me towards what your body may need most.
But have you ever wondered how I choose which acupressure points are the right ones for your session?
Here is a brief insight into how I select which points to use:
✨ Points connected to the priority meridian, identified through muscle monitoring or your physical and emotional symptoms.
✨ Specific points that can nourish Qi, move stagnant Qi, release emotional stress or support the associated organ or gland.
✨ Points that support particular physical conditions or areas of the body.
✨ Groups or pairings of points which can encourage a specific outcome.
✨ Points that help promote the flow of Qi between connected meridians.
✨ The most active point at the time and day of your session.
✨ Master points linked to the extraordinary meridians based on your date of birth.
Feel free to ask me more about acupressure points at your next session - I always love sharing more about this fascinating area of Kinesiology.
