Dr Habiba Jahan was busy last week meeting with Health Minister Blair Boyer and Dr Sian Goodson, Chair of the RACGP Board.
An announcement that the South Australian Government has committed funding to train an additional 100 General Practitioners to assess, diagnose and treat patients with ADHD is welcome news. It aims to relieve pressure for many families struggling with the cost, accessibility and lengthy waits for diagnosis.
Dr Jahan is part of the first 100 to undergo the training and welcomes the initiative to help even more South Australians get the support they need.
