Living with gastroparesis means sometimes my stomach is committing war crimes while I’m over here dancing like nothing is happening 💃😂

The reality? Chronic nausea, debilitating abdominal pain, bloating, delayed gastric emptying, food intolerance and tube feeding are very much part of my everyday life. I’m feeding tube dependent and use enteral nutrition because sometimes eating normally just isn’t an option.

So yes, I might be dancing… but there’s a feeding tube involved, my stomach is furious, and I’m probably nauseous AF. 😂

Chronic illness doesn’t always look sick. Sometimes it looks like dancing in your living room while your digestive system is actively filing a complaint. 💀

life isn’t always pretty, but there’s still so much worth loving in the middle of it all. 🫶🏻

A reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out to be doing okay. You’re allowed to be tired, to have bad days, to take your time and to simply do the best you can. Be gentle with yourself — you’re doing better than you think. 🤍 If you needed this reminder today, save it for the days when that little voice gets too loud, and send it to someone who might need to hear it too. 🫶🏻
