If you aren’t having amazing bowel movements, then your body is holding only hormones, bloating, puffiness and weight.

So before taking more Metamucil or laxative, try this:

2 x tbsps ground flax
2 x kiwi fruit

Each day. And support it with enough water and gentle movement.

If you allow your body to let go of what it’s meant to, you will see an overall improvement in your health.

Ok, all of a sudden it’s Winter. Let’s just lean into it, and indulge in all of the warmth and nourishment and slowness it has to offer.

Slow mornings
Warmer meals
Flannelette pyjamas at 5:30pm

I’m here for it all.

Why your gut feels off… even though you eat well

Lots of my clients are eating lots of whole foods, cooking most of their meals, and trying to look after themselves.

Yet they still feel bloated, inflamed, uncomfortable or tired after eating.

Often the answer isn’t a more restrictive diet, it’s supporting digestion and creating conditions for the gut to recover.

Because digestion is heavily influenced by stress or just being ‘busy’, there’s a lot we can do to improve digestion by changing the WAY we eat. For example slowing down, taking the time and concentrating on our food.

So rather than focusing on which foods may be the culprit, first look at how you’re eating to see if this may be impacting you.
