Happy 80th Birthday Total Eyecare!!

2026 celebrates 80 years as a 100% Tasmanian owned and operated optometry group for us!
And our Sorell team are marking the occasion with balloons and some well-loved vintage optometry equipment; that even though it's no longer used in the consultation room, it still makes for a very cool display!

Team building done the Total Eyecare way!

We have 12 different teams at Total Eyecare, based across 8 different locations. And while we all know each other, most of us don't very often get the chance to see others outside of our day-to-day smaller team.
So the occasional fun team activity, complete with old school party snacks, is the perfect way to remedy that! 7 of our teams were represented at this one and we had a blast - literally!

How cute is this!!
We have just been sent these pictures from the Kindergarten at Kingston Primary, along with a BIG thank you from their staff and students, for a recent donation of retired optometry resources.

Talk about the ultimate in reuse and recycle!
They have put together this amazing imaginative play space that they tell us the children are loving. Future optometrists and optical team members in the making!

Do your glasses need some love? ❤️
Look, we’re good but not quite that good! lol And these poor old things, which are pushing 60 years old, are a little beyond our help now!
But giving your glasses the right amount of love and attention will certainly help them to last and keep them in good (and hygienic) shape for you!

Did you know that we can…
👓 Adjust them at no cost when they start to feel loose or uncomfortable!
👓 Deep clean them, again at no cost, when skin oils and makeup build up and they get a little grimy!
👓 Assess them when they are broken or the parts are worn, and arrange for repair if possible (a cost may be involved)!
