Kids Play Occupational Therapy Kids Play OT is a Paediatric Occupational Therapy practice based in the wider Brisbane area. Fostering focussed, independent children. Transforming families.

Kids Play OT was developed to help kids to be kids! We operate out of Holland Park and Springfield Lakes clinics, and also offer home, childcare, and school visits. Kids Play OT works alongside our sister speech and psychology practices, SpeechNet and All for Kids Psychology. We provide quality occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and education to children who need extra help to do the t

hings they need and want to do. Above all, we aim to create positive change in children and families. Our small and close-knit team of Occupational Therapists consists of passionate, caring clinicians with a variety of clinical expertise. Our therapists continually engage in professional development, team building, and training to ensure that we provide the highest standard of care. We have experience with developing children skills in the areas of:
• Attention and Concentration
• Sensory Processing Difficulties
• Social Interaction
• Play
• Learning
• Anxiety
• Feeding difficulties and picky eaters
• Toileting Issues
• Behaviour concerns
• Inclusion into Childcare, Kindergarten and school
• Motor coordination – gross and fine motor
• Handwriting
• Daily Routine Skills such as sleep, dressing, bathing, and eating
• Safety concerns at home and in the community

Did you know we offer group programs?
This Easter holidays, we are running a social skills group for 8-11 year olds, and a handwriting group for children in grades 2 and 3 (with flexibility to accept grade 4 students as appropriate).

The social skills group ran in January and was a great success, with children developing their abilities to engage within a group and collaborate with peers while enjoying a community access trip to laser tag.

The handwriting group focusses on essential skills for classroom writing, including letter formation, line awareness and spacing/sizing. Feedback from previous groups highlighted the rapid improvements children make in the intensive program.

If you are interested in either program, please contact us to book, as spaces are limited.
