🎨 If colours had faces… what would they say to you?

Sometimes we think we’re just drawn to certain colours.

But in art therapy, colour can also become a quiet language. One that reflects what’s happening beneath the surface.

Each colour can hold a different emotion, need, or inner experience.

Not as labels, but as gentle invitations to pause and notice yourself.

You don’t need to interpret it perfectly.

Just notice what resonates… and what doesn’t.

πŸ’ Which colour are you ready to understand a little more?

If this way of working with colour, symbolism, and inner experience speaks to you, our Advanced Diploma of Transpersonal Art Therapy is now open for enrolment.

Classes commence online on 21 August. https://zurl.co/DpIDq

It isn't.

When we begin to recognise our own worth, we often find greater self-awareness, resilience, and the confidence to move forward.

If you've ever felt called to support others in a meaningful way, or you're curious about what it means to become an Art Therapist, this is the perfect place to start.

Sometimes, all it takes is one story to inspire another.

As we read through these beautiful reviews from our Melbourne campus students, we're reminded that choosing to study isn't just about starting a new career. It's about saying yes to growth, purpose, and becoming someone who can positively impact the lives of others.

To every student who has shared their experience with us, thank you. Your words are helping future students believe that they can take that first step too.

πŸ’š Swipe through to read their stories, and if you've studied with CCM, we'd love for you to leave us a Google or Facebook review. You never know whose life you might inspire next.

One thing I've noticed from talking to our faculty and practising art therapists over the years is this...

They're not looking for the "perfect" client.

In fact, when I ask them what matters most in a therapy room, the conversation is rarely about having the right words or saying the right thing.

Instead, they tell me what doesn't matter.

✨ What you look like.
✨ If you're falling apart.
✨ If you overshare.
✨ If you're completely unfiltered.
✨ Whether your views are different from theirs.
✨ Whether you've got everything figured out.

Because art therapy isn't about being polished. It's about creating a safe space where people feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as they are.

Reading through these, I was reminded that this is the kind of therapist many people need and the kind of therapist many aspire to become.

If supporting others through creativity, compassion, and genuine human connection speaks to you, our Advanced Diploma of Transpersonal Therapy (Art Therapy Pathway) is the perfect place to begin.

Our next intake starts 21 August, and we'd love to welcome the next generation of compassionate art therapists.

The blank A3 page felt a little overwhelming, so instead of trying to fill it all at once, I gave myself permission to work in smaller, more manageable pieces.

Over several days, I doodled whenever inspiration came. Each drawing became a small moment of pause, a reflection of whatever I was feeling or noticing that day. When I was ready, I brought them together to create one collective piece.

It reminded me that healing and self-expression don't always happen in one big breakthrough. Sometimes they unfold through small, meaningful moments that gradually come together to tell a bigger story.

In art therapy, creating within contained spaces can help reduce feelings of overwhelm, offering a sense of safety while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and emotional expression.

Sometimes, all we need is a small place to begin. πŸ’š
