Last week, Cherry Bear had the best time visiting one of our local daycare centres to help teach the kids how to stay healthy! 🐻💚

Together we talked about three simple ways to keep well:
🥕 Eating healthy foods
🧼 Washing our hands properly
💉 Why vaccines help protect us and our community

Cherry Bear was a little nervous about getting his vaccine, but with lots of cheering and encouragement from the children, he was incredibly brave—and it was all over before he knew it! 🌟

We love visiting our local schools and daycare centres and helping little ones learn about staying healthy while showing them what their friendly community pharmacists are here to do every day.

Tiffany leads our medication packing service, coordinating over 100 packs each week to help members of our community manage their medicines safely and stay independent at home.

From working with GPs, hospitals and carers to checking medication profiles and interactions — Tiffany shows the care, knowledge and expertise that happens behind the scenes every day.

Because pharmacy is about so much more than medicines. 💚

💗 No one should have to choose between buying food or period products.

This August, our pharmacist Chandreyee is shining a light on our Period Care Drive in support of Share the Dignity.

Did you know?
🩸 1 in 5 people who menstruate in Australia have struggled to afford period products.
🩸 More than half have worn a pad or tampon for longer than recommended because they couldn’t afford to change it.
🩸 Every donation helps provide dignity, comfort and confidence to someone experiencing period poverty.

If you’re able, please consider donating unopened packs of pads, tampons, liners, menstrual cups or period underwear at our pharmacy throughout August.

Together, we can make sure no one misses school, work or everyday life simply because they can’t afford period products.

Smiles all round at yesterday’s primary school nasal vaccine clinic—especially from the kids when they realised there were no needles involved!!!

There’s something really special about stepping outside the four walls of the pharmacy and bringing care directly into the community. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
